ReconRat
Holy crap. BRB, gotta run to the grocery...edit: btw, if pickle acids work that well, I would think white vinegar or similar would also. Jamez
How often do you guys clean your chain?Evertime you lube it?X amount of miles?Or just when it starts to look disgusting?

RSparky
How often do you guys clean your chain?Evertime you lube it?X amount of miles?Or just when it starts to look disgusting?I clean it when it starts accumulating more gunk than a healthy dose of spray lube will knock off. Just wd40 and a bristle brush and a rag is all I usually do.
mike884
when it starts to look grungy... $8 grunge brush from wally world and some wd40/degreaser and relube with dupont chain lube, keeps it pretty clean for a while.
BMMW
Someones going to loose some fingers running their pickle across a chain. I'm thinking that they may not realize that there is a sprocket waiting for them.

John
Someones going to loose some fingers running their pickle across a chain. I'm thinking that they may not realize that there is a sprocket waiting for them.the chain shouldnt be moving in the first place. but if you dont have enough sense to keep your fingers away from a moving chain/sprocket... well, you will only make that mistake once. stupid hurts lol. just like my dummy neighbor who said "oh my snowblower isnt working correctly. ill just stick my hand down in here and see whats wrong". idiot.
