JStump
So I ended up doing the film in the fork seal trick and it seems to have worked but I'll keep those in mind for the future.

JStump
yeah, you take some 35mm film and slide it between the fork tube and the seal and it gets all the dirt and gunk out and it seals right back up. you can also use notecards or business cards and there is also a tool out there specifically for this. my forks were leaking like a mofo but after doing this there isnt a single drop of oil on the forks after a ride.i have also heard of people putting a ring or masking take or electrical tape around the tube right above the seal and just pimping the forks so the seal crosses the tape and pulls the stuff off. JStump
Oh I thought that was the first thing to do when one starts leaking. It is if you wanna possibly save $300, that's how much it was gonna cost with parts and labor but doing that fixed them and now that's $300 in my pocket lol
