crb
Looking to sell winchester model 94 30-30. The blueing is worn as you can see due to blood (it was a hunting rifle). I have no idea on round count as I bought it used. The rifle shoots and groups well. I bought this as a truck gun and no longer carry it in the truck so it has become a safe queen and is up for sale. ***OFF THE MARKET I'll just hang it on the wall as a piece of American History instead of giving it away! crb
Thats the what the dealer explained to me. Im not sure if you would call it fade or not. When I first got the rifle you could see the finger marks they have blended some now.

max power
Blood has salt in it which will cause rust if not cleaned off immediately.
Beegreenstrings
The salt in the blood acts like a acid wash on most blued items. Will even discolor stainless and reeks havoc on nickel plated items.
crb
Taking it off the Market I'd rather hang it on the wall as a piece of history than give it away. So offer withdrawn feel free to lock this one down!
