hollywood3586
Did anyone on here get one for $99? Matt and I got one from craigslist for $175. Hey not bad for a touchpad. This thing is pretty cool. And for having owned an ipad its totally comparable. I'm hoping to snag another one soon. For that cheap I'll even buy my daughter one

JStump
It may seem comparable to an iPad for internet browsing but what apps can you get on it? Almost none, but for $99 or even $175 its a nice internet device. Edited August 27, 2011 by JStump
Rctaylor
The freeware and open-source community for them is already growing rapidly.Looks like a lot of programmers got ahold of some. Give it a month and I bet it'll be comparative in apps.
hollywood3586
both of you are right.. Right now it doesnt have much as far as apps go. But for the price we couldnt pass it up trying it out.
Casper
There's already an Android ROM for it.
tyler524
There's already an Android ROM for it.I snagged a 16 and two 32gb ones but only one is for me. I want to get a hold of one more so I can have one with Android and one with webOS. WebOS is a good operating system, it is just lacking the community the Apple and Android has. I just wonder how much that community may grow though now that HP has managed get their operating system and hardware into the hands of thousands and thousands of people that would have never considered buying it before. Though HP lost a ton of money on this, they could potentially revive their hardware and now webOS may have a fighting chance.

I don't know how many or if they will get more in but they seem to say that they will.

Josh1234
I tried to get one, but I was too late All sold out, or I'd've bought one (or two) for sure.
AOW
I've had a palm phone since the i300 first came out and will always be a Palm loyalist. The Palm community is like a less fanatic Apple community. Check out the Palm forums for shit load of free aps and such.
ohdaho
Just scored two 32gb touchpads from OnSale. If I don't Luke em they'll be gifted to some family members as Internet browsers or eBay
Siacono
I have the Acer Iconia A500 Android Tab, It is a great all around tab but has not even half the tab specific app selection as Ipad but they do screen scaling pretty well when using apps designed for a Droid phone... I couldn't imagine a WebOS tab as app selection would suck....
ohdaho
Some tablet users dont need apps at all. I would guess most would only use minimal apps (ie more popular ones) and use the tablet predominantly for media, internet, and ereader. Its a cheap ereaders and browser for me.
