jessecwalters
So the other day my wife hit something while driving, and bent her wheel. Is there anywhere that can fix this? It's only bent a little on around the bead area, so it won't hold air. I'm looking for somewhere area Columbus that can fix this inexpensively, or somewhere I can get a replacement. Toyota wants 115$ or so, and I know I can get it cheaper elsewhere. Oh, and its a rim off a 2007 yaris sedan. 15 inch steel rim.Help is always appreciated. standout
Hammer. We do it all the time with steel wheels at the shop. Worst case scenario call junkyards or tire discounter for a replacement. If it has hubcaps u don't need exactly the same wheel just same size and lug pattern. jagr
try wheelmedicYup. Wheel Medic price List. Only place I'll go. http://www.theroundhouse.ws/RetailPrices.html
jester3681
You can't straighten a steel wheel. Wheel Medic only works on aluminum. Try TireRack. Steel wheel should be $60 or so.
SAMBUSA
Ball-peen hammer and crescent wrench are all you need to fix it. Take ya about 5 minutes.

jester3681
Yeah, you can. Alot easier than aluminum Let me to rephrase - Wheel Medic will not straighten steel. And depeding how his wheel is bent, it may be a lost cause. Any tweek on the rotation axis I wouldn't mess with, but if the lip is just boogerd, then grab a hammer. Ill try to do it my self when I get home from work in the AM, if I can't fix it, ill call wheel medic. Thanks!!

jessecwalters
^^ I will keep you in mind if she does it again. But, I was able to bend it back with a hammer. Dont know if it will hold air though, because when i went to fill it back up, i discovered a hole =( so I'm buying a new tire i guess.
