shadyone
there is a huge difference between the 03 tt600 and the 04 daytona 600 as far as ergos and suspension.. go with the 04 if possible..
oldschoolsdime92
I'm looking at swapping the Sprint for one plus some cash.
speedytriple
The tt is like a f4i in ergos. Still plenty sporty. The 600 daytona is more like a true super sport. Edited October 4, 2011 by speedytriple
bacchus
Didn't they have a lot of fueling issues? Did they ever resolve them?
oldschoolsdime92
It appears in 2002 they resolved them
shadyone
unless you really need the cash your sprint is a much better bike.. and just as sporty as a tt.
oldschoolsdime92
I'm perfectly happy with the Sprint except I'm tired of the weight just commuting back and fourth to work. I really want a naked bike, but like I said , I havent been to come up with one. The extra cash would be nice too. Wedding savings.
oldschoolsdime92
I'm kind of shooting for a mini tourer if that makes sense. Somthing that's light and nimble for the commute, but comfortable enough/ reliable enough to tour.

shadyone
I would say that even though the sprint is a heavier bigger bike. that the weigh will be offset by the additional power of the Sprint. I've ridden a 2001 Speed Triple 955i extensively and think it handled better than the 01 TT600 t6that I rode. I wasn't a fan of the Low slung seat compared to my 04 Daytona 600. Id keep the sprint and this winter Id strip it down to make it look like a Speed triple that will drop some weigh and I would get the suspension looked at.. that will make the bike handle better and feel lighter. as you can tell im not a fan of the TTs hahaha .. sorry, but the sprint is a much better bike IMHO. oldschoolsdime92
I think you are describing this. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/2625022284.htmlthats exactly what I want to do, except with an fz6 instead of the fz6r. The guy with the TT bailed on our deal, so its out.
JStump
I can vouch for how much fun the daytona is, definitely worth trying to find one IMO
