natedogg624
lately i've noticed the sound system in my car acting up. the right side speakers seem to be louder than the left. the left still has audio but it just seems to be at a less volume than the right when the balance dial is centered. I've had another person verify they're hearing the same thing. However what's weird is sometimes it'll go back to normal the way it's supposed to sound with a balanced system on its own without me doing anything. I've tried playing with the volume increase with speed level to see if that effects it, which it doesn't. Any thoughts as to the culprit? It's a 2010 Ford Fusion with the factory Sony 10 speaker sound system option if that makes any difference.
Tony07R6
I have the same system in our '10 Fusion Sport and haven't experienced any issues like that. Take it to the dealer and make them fix it, a 2010 should still be under warranty.
JStump
speakers are a tricky thing to get covered under warrantee, the dealer will always accuse you of turning up the stereo too loud.
MackZX7R
what source are you on when it happens? Is it just one? or all?
natedogg624
i'm fairly certain all of them, i'll double check on my way to work tomorrow.
speedytriple
From the sounds of what you described it might be the head unit? I would take it in and have the dealer look into it first. If they won't cover it maybe replace the head unit to see if that helps.

f4isvt
i would suspect either a head unit problem or a loose connection at one of the speakers. My f150 did that for the longest time finally just ditched it all and built a whole stereo.
