natedogg624
until they do, obama will win the next election. too many republicans split between someone else and paul. if he doesn't get the nomination, he'll likely run independent (im assuming) and split the republican vote. Casper
He doesn't need to run Indy to split the Republican vote. Obama's a two-termer.Why do you say Obama's a two-termer?

Cheech
He'll run Libertarian if he doesn't get the Republican nomination. Will he have enough time to get his name on the ballot in all 50 states? I don't see a write-in campaign working for him, not when he would split the Republican vote. If he wanted to run on his own, he would have done it in 2008 when the Republicans nominated a largely ineffective Maverick McJowls. He's loyal to the Party, just like everyone else. jhaag
He's not loyal to the Party. He's loyal to the traditions of Republicanism. He's stubborn and won't let go of his belief in conservative' date=' small government, non-intervention, civil liberty defending Republicanism. His party left him behind and he's not having it.[/quote']^thisalso, he's made it clear that this is it for him. he wont be running for another term in congress, so i dont see why he wouldnt run 3rd party. i'll write him in whatever he does. it really is pretty pathetic how the media ignores/attacks him. regardless of whether one supports him or not, it should make people really look at what they are getting spoon fed to them on a daily basis. most people dont really give a shit, though, which is sad and they dont even know why they dont like him, just that they are told not to....this based on conversations i've had with people...
