I have not used it yet but seems like a really good idea to have.Vehicle Identification System (V.I.S.) is a fast reference for law enforcement and security officers to use while on patrol or interviewing witnesses. Just open the app to discover an extensive database of vehicle images of almost every make and model released in the last decade. You have a witness to a hit and run you responded to but there’s a problem. Your eye-witness doesn’t know cars. The vehicle was grey, kind of small with round tail lights and was missing a hubcap, those are the only details you have. Obviously, you need more information, so you open your V.I.S. and let the witness look at the pictures.
