Bad324
Does anyone have one and be able to do me a favor?I need to know if the pivot pin can be removed and you can flip the arm so it curves down and out.
Simplysix
not sure if it does or not. you should probably just donate your contour to me and you can buy a gopro
Bad324
haha I have a GoPro. The reason I ask is because I rigged up a way for the contour to use my GoPro mount the same way. If the contour mount won't do what I want to do, I'll sell the GoPro sans the mount super cheap

First Dibs!you'll be sad to know its not an HD, but it took good enough video for my liking. If it wasn't for picking up the ContourHD dirt cheap, I wouldn't have made the switch. But I'd probably get rid of it for like $50 without the mounthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfoFiSKwwkA&feature=plcp&context=C3b8ebc8UDOEgsToPDskKM4Ox6jF3DlERebQtffcEe

Jst2fst
Ok I checked and you can move the arm to face downward however their are little teeth on one side of the arm that allow you to easly adjust the angle. My guess is that if you do that it might be hard getting a certin angle.
Bad324
maybe when I get home from the office I'll pull the cover off and put the mount on and show you how I have it now and see if its easier to explain what I'm looking to do. Its hard to explain without a picture I think. But this is a good start to figuring it out...thanks!

Jst2fst
I see what you mean you need to buy the adapter its 20 bux on amazon or ebay and it should screw into the bottom of the adapter and give you a 360 rotation. When I get to a computer I'll show you what I have on mine. Hope this helps

Jst2fst
I like the setup and it allows for multiple angles and sets pretty firmly. I don't know never owned a GoPro

Bad324
Yea where I have it seems to be the perfect place on the VFR. Never once had to worry about the suction cup coming loose or anything. I can't remember if that spot on the CBR would work or not, have you tried it there?
