216cityboy Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Anyone on here do repairs or recommend a shop? It's a 42" Samsung that the girlfriend has had about 5-6 years. Yesterday while it was on it made a random loud buzzing noise every so often similar to if you touch 2 rca jacks together. It was still working when I came downstairs but I smelled the smoke genie. The smell is strongest from the upper left corner. We turned it off shortly after. I have my battery tender for the bike plugged into the wall in the garage directly opposite the plug in the house the tv uses (just in case someone has had a similar oddball issue).
