Loved how they stayed within their ability to do special effects well - no overreliance on new un-polished CG - it was all tried and true techniques, well executed. The acting was surprisingly good for a film on SyFy.All in all a great film. Stuck with me all day, still creeped out by the concept - that's when I know a film has done its job. Oh, and if you want a good creepy film that is not gory or too heavy on unconvincing special effects then try "Dark Water", the US version (Japanese film originally, kinda like The Ring was stolen from Ringu). Of course I had the ending figured out by 5 mins into the film, but it was well-paced (in a jaws kind of way, lots of theatrical foreplay - not dazzling you with their best special effects in the first 2 minutes) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
