DrewsBrews Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 (edited) Yep sort of like when leaning over on your bike, you ride up the side of the tire effectively reducing the size of the circle. So you need to give a little gas to spin the tire a little faster in order to maintain your true speed (preventing engine braking) through the turn.
