MotoGP: Start to the season

Is anyone else here about ready to burst with excitement for this season? :bj: 1000cc's, CRTs, maybe by halfway through they will have actually figured out the GP12 to the point where we have a competitive Rossi/Hayden...I honestly can't wait...

Anybody ditching the family on Easter @ 3pm to watch?

I'll definitely be watching. As for Rossi/Hayden/Ducati, I don't expect them to do any better this year than they did last year. Too bad, because I'd like to see Nicky on competitive machinery and have a chance to prove that his title wasn't a fluke. Rossi, he's had his glory, so I don't feel bad for him. Ironic that the Italian "dream team" of Rossi and Ducati will be the sour end note to his spectacular career.

Unless I'm totally wrong, of course. It has happened.

I believe qualifying is only online, and not free. The pricing is all in euros, so who the hell knows how much it really costs.

Last I saw, Lorenzo was out front with stoner a few tents behind. Then crutchlow(!), spies, about 1.3 behind, and the CRT bikes as much as 3 seconds off pace.

Just got done watching Qualifying. I like the comment the announcers make about Max Biaggi from last year. How many engines did he use during his world superbike championship last year?

:waaa::eek:

28 Engines for 26 races in 13 rounds....

will you be going through 10 this year Steve?

I can't wait to see how the new tires work out, back to where they fade off like every other form of racing.

Dude, I was at my AUnt/Uncles on bixford and you drove right by and didn't even give me a reach around.

It was about 3pmish, and I even yelled at you but you kept on flying by. I'll remember that then next time you want to be big spoon. I was going to stop over, then remembered I had a painter heading over at 5 and had to run home.

I got your paper for the settings for Nelson though dude, gotta get it over this week/end.

Won't be on till tomorrow. I am watching via subscription on Moto GP's website.

I bought a subscription too... What is to stop me from announcing my email and password so everyone could watch? Why don't we get 10 guys in next year and just pay $10? :p

You fags, thanks for calling me. I will remember that when you want to share beds at Dubguys for our Indy trip. I'm sleeping with Craig now.

I was in a rush to get home get the new part on Mike's bike and then out for gas to fill it up from the gas I took out from the leaking tank. (And used :D )

All is well till he got home and got a FI light. But should be a simple fix of lose MAP sensor connector or pinched MAP hose. As for those settings, just bring them by when you pickup the trailer for Putnam.

would you guys say that the motogp guys are riding their bikes to the max and the bikes are actually holding them back? like if they were given better bikes, they would immediately be faster because they were riding their current bikes to their max potential? or would you say those gp bikes have more to give than what the riders are capable of?

Simple answer....NO

They are on brand new bikes as they switch to 1000's this season, so the riders are still adapting and getting use to them. They are always changing, testing, improving.
