2talltim
it there such thing as a metric torx bit. I need to take the brake away battery box off my trailer so i can install a large battery box. It has torx head srews holding it on and a T-15 is too small and a T-20 is too big. What am i missing here? And it will be hard to get a cut off or drill bit in there to cut it free:confused: Edited April 5, 2012 by 2talltim

20thGix
It could be some type of security type of fasterner that needs a special bit.
2talltim
ok i just went out and looked again because if what read on that other site, there are 8 points instaead of 6 like on a standard torx, and a #2 square does take it out if you are careful(i almost striped one)/ So i got them out crisis averted..carry on...lol Edited April 5, 2012 by 2talltim
