jblosser Posted May 5, 2012 Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 Rofini's Pizza, NE corner of Shrock and State, is closing.Stopped in there tonight for a couple of pies and the owner told me that Monday night is the last night as "Rofini's". Some other pizza shop will open in the same space, but it will not be the same recipe.John (the owner) is old and wants to retire, probably play more golf, and just not work any longer. Good for him!I know, I know, <insert name of 'za shop>'s pizza is tons better than Rofini's. Maybe, but Rofini's has been around forever and is pretty darn good.Get while the gettin' is good. jblosser Posted May 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 Oh, and in case you've never ordered from there but want to before the end:Arrive 10-15 minutes after they say it'll be ready and it should be coming out of the oven when you walk in.It's been that way every single time over the 25~ish years I've been getting pie there...
