InyaAzz Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 I've done it, with an external 250 GB drive in a Metal Gear enclosure.I don't have TW anymore..I switched to DTV (f#ck cable and their prices).I didn't have any prblems..it fired right up. I remember reading about certain people having issues with cables...so maybe try a different brand of cable if you can.Maybe you need to reset your box?! vectorvictor Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 Its not usually a problem with the box but a problem w the signal.TWC is trying to update trunk lines in Cbus bus there are so many that are old and the demand is so high that they cant work fast enough... There is a bad trunk line in MT Vernon that they are going to replace in fall of this year. My lines are all brand new and underground and ive only reset my box once. DTV's DVR blows that explorer POS out of the water. In EVERY way. I kick myself for letting TW nickel and dime me to death all these years.
