Tigerpaw Posted July 16, 2012 Report Share Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) ask anyone that visits a country that has a lot of diesel vehicles how bad the air smells. light a kerosene heater in your house and leave for an hour. then come back and take a wiff. that smell is what diesel vehicles make the air smell like. it's fucking nasty. and should be abandoned just for that reason alone.Can you enlighten me which countries have a lot of diesel vehicles? BadTrainDriver Posted July 16, 2012 Report Share Posted July 16, 2012 Three years ago when the wife and I went to Ireland, our rental vehicle was a brand new 2010 BMW 320D, 6 speed, equipped with the "start/stop" feature.We drove 1300 miles in the 9 days we were there, and averaged 58MPG(the speedometer and trip computer was in "miles"/"miles per gallon".It never our "smelled" like a diesel.Why we can't have it here in the US is beyond me....
