ReconRat
I thought this thread was about JRMIII.... I've never had fuel problems worth mentioning on motorcycles. (Hondas)But I have noticed fuel tanks on mowers and yard gear giving up rather easily.
TSB67
It amazes me that you guys continue to think the fuel issue is only Ducati. Triumph tanks have problems, KTM tanks have problems, boat manufactures had problems, even Porsche has problems with their tanks. Aprilia has tank issues, bmw has started to seal their tanks because they have had problems with their tanks swelling. Just because your bike hasn't had a problem doesn't mean the problem isn't relevant.Sounds like the moral of the story is: buy something japanese, or be prepared to deal with the "character." shadyone
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it but having seperate filler lines at all the pumps would fix this issue. Then they could even add back in standard gas. And it would be a smorgasbord of whatever the consumer would want. I do see that this would put some Kim and pop shops out of business but I already look for gas stations that have seperate lines when in the bike.
