  1. Front sprocket 40 Rear sprocket 47 Rear axle 69 ft-lbs from the factory service manual
  2. That shit is terrible. I did a dirt bike chain with that out in AZ this winter. It sat in a 95+F garage for two weeks and still never dried. What a mess. I recommend Honda red label HP Chain Lube (*not* the blue label with White Graphite). I put that shit of everything - street, dirt, kart. When I lube a chain I try to inject into every side plate and roller. Unless I'm feeling lazy and the chain is dry as a bone, then I'll do it the hillbilly way and just spray the chain while spinning the wheel.
  3. Be sure to turn on the captions.

  5. Mounting that on a motorcycle valve stem seems like a terrible idea. Somebody do the math on how much force 29g in that location would exert at 150mph.
  6. Really? Please tell me more about this failure mode.
  7. I'll tell you one thing for sure - that notarized bill of sale cannot be from an Ohio resident. They will insist another Ohio resident titles the bike before selling it. Basically, suckers who buy bikes without titles in Ohio get stuck with them until they find another sucker to dump it on.
  8. I have very similar (old) hardware to you and the exact same problems. I'm pretty sure it's the hardware's inability to keep up with the video processing. If I use my work laptop or phone I have no issues. I agree it "didn't always seem to be this crappy," but I have no idea what may have changed with either the quality or compression these days. Of course, IANACN, so if anyone *is* a computer nerd and has a quick fix, that would be great. I just assume I need to buy something newer.
  9. Same channel new name. FoxSports1 was Speed, FoxSports2 was Fuel.
  10. From your first post I got the impression that you wanted to pay less than $200. I skimmed the rest of the thread to see if there was actually anyone willing to do that.
  11. Completely random observation from someone who knows nothing about website design or DJing. You think $200 is too expensive for website work. You think $250 is too cheap for DJ work. That is all.
  12. Sounded to me like, "Show me your hands motherfucker OR you're going to die." Video not really worth watching.

    Chain Slack

9 times out of 10, most the track day tech guys tell you your chain is WAAAY too tight. I started running at the looser end of spec in hopes of not hearing about it. If you ever really want to know what it does, take your shock off and run the swingarm through its range of travel.
  15. This is an awesome deal. Last time I bought "$60 lowers" they were actually $74 by the time they were shipped and transferred.
  16. I had a deposit down on one of the last 2011s to come into the country. While waiting I did some research. Then I bought a 2013 Mustang instead. Which is for sale BTW. In your price range. Let me know if you're interested. Basically, IMHO, those STIs are stupid little poser cars that can't handle their own design power for more than short bursts. Subaru sells you a performance package at an $8500 premium and then tells you "driving under boost for extended periods of time" is "abuse." There are modifications that can be made to safeguard against the problems that PartyPizza alluded to, but I wanted a car with a warranty that was fast enough to be entertaining in 100% stock unmodified form. If you're just going to cruise around on the street it will be fine.
  17. That sounds like an awesome reason to buy them. If however you have Shinkos on your sportbike and they don't make colored smoke when you do a burnout, you should probably change them out for a better tire.
  18. Mirrors are worthless. You should get really loud pipes. If you rev them while sitting at a light people will hear you and stop.
  19. I use WD40 to clean anything greasy and grimy. That's about all it's good for. That and maybe temporarily displacing water from things that are prone to rust. To clean the chain I spray it on a rag and then wipe the chain. Not too concerned about the minimal amount that comes in contact with the o-rings. I say temporarily above because the stuff seems to evaporate after a period of time. P.S. Actually just looked at the link, good stuff, thanks for posting.
  20. Just repped him now. I stay out of most of the political threads, so I probably missed what got y'alls panties in a bunch, but I've also never seen him stoop to the childish levels of those who call him out over and over again lately.

    Virgin Mobile

Their coverage map is accurate. I have one that works flawless up and down the I71 corridor. Only time I have ever lacked signal is when I was trying to find a place in Spencer, OH. Had to drive back towards the freeway to get a signal. I also got in at the ground floor at $25/mo. A co-op at work turned me on to it. P.S. As was said if you don't already know, it's second priority on the Sprint network. If Sprint has coverage you're golden, if not you have nothing - there is no roaming.
