Does it hook into the digital optical out on the TV and just broadcast wireless to the speakers?And am I wrong in this, or with a HTiB are you paying mostly for the Blu-Ray player? And that's still the best way to go starting out?I just don't understand all of the dynamics of how it all works. It sounds like you upgrade it part by part as you go along? The sub has an adjustable knob so you can turn it up/down with ease depending on your situation. Easiest way is by using HDMI cords and routing it all through receiver pretty much all your peripherals hook to the reciever and you can use a single hdmi cable to the tv from the receiver and bingo. See, I was thinking these speakers were massive or something. I never thought that they'd be like computer speaker-sized.And so they aren't wireless? HDMI cables are to transmit video and soundI'm assuming thats the same sub that I have in my system and it is in my basement. If I have it turned up all the way and have the music half loud, you can hear the bass from my 2nd floor bedroom. Massive ghetto trunk rattling bass is annoying and unnesscary, complimentary bass is what you should be looking foryou can find wireless speaker systems I'm sure but in the past I've heard mostly negative reviews so never even bothered looking in to them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I think I've decided I'm going to return the sound bar. Apparently, I'm able to get Klipsch's Quintet system. And then I need a good receiver and an even better sub. Get a mid range onkyo or Yamaha receiver. I dont know the current model numbers but should be a TSXR-60something. Not too expensive and great features. FYI this is my setup at home lol.
