buildit
All I ever see is jobs that don't really exist because they plan to promote from within. Market out here simply sucks.

Helmutt
Not sure if you'll make the hourly wage you posted to start as a parts driver, at least not in our industry. We pay drivers $10/hr to start, sad I know but the competition isn't paying much more if any more than that. Just FYI man
Levir05
I have been looking a ton of places and it seems like 10/hr is where everyone wants to start.

BadTrainDriver
Have you thought about the railroad?Hell of a lot better than $13.50 and hour.
Tomcat0403
Railroad or Truck Driving. I work on the sales side of trucking and drivers are needed everywhere. Werner I think is paying for the schooling for your CDL and generally have their drivers home on the weekends. Exel is also a great company (one of our customers) and they are doing the same. Tons of warehouses all over the US.

Then work on top of it and you're good and getting educated.
LongDogRacing
^what he said.being a military guy, why limit yourself to "truck driver"? (nttawwt)were you an NCO? how many years did you have in, and what was your job skill?just sayin'... you prolly have a lot more options. Tomcat0403
As a Marine myself, I was not trying to limit him in anyway. I was offering him an industry that pays very well and has the opportunity to pay for his license in a field that needs people dearly. And he mentioned Driver as a desired occupation. LongDogRacing
tomcat, my comment wasn't geared towards your comments. i just meant for the OP to fully consider his experience and ensure he was marketing himself appropriately.
