jester3681
Aren't doves very similar to Cornish game hens? Sounds yummy!
cOoTeR
I always liked wrapping the breast up in bacon and bbq-ing them.

C-bus
Nice! My only dove hunt became a bird hunt and then a throw-shit-and-shoot-it hunt. I need to try it again. I hear the meat is awesome.

Beegreenstrings
Seems you must have been lucky? Maybe?I have taken guys on Dove hunts before that shoot 50 shells and never bring one down. Then all of a sudden it clicks. Then they start dropping them left and right.I always liked wrapping the breast up in bacon and bbq-ing them.Very Good!

Gump
Dove is my favorite as a far as game meats, next to venison tenderloins. Nothing like it. Not white meat, not dark meat, just excellant. Gotten soft in my experienced age though and don't like shooting a whole lot of them. They mate for life and I worry the bag limits are going to wipe them out. I'm seeing fewer and fewer of them. They are too easy to slaughter. speedytriple
Dont worry gump we have plenty in the city along with deer turkey and yotes. Think you country boys are pushing all the critters into the city.
Gump
I think the city's pushing into the country. Because there's not much country left.
