bshultz0930
Anyone have a 46mm fork seal installer? Or know a good way to get the fork seals in without damaging them? Ill rent or buy it off you
Streetfighterkz
Are the conventional or USD forks? If they are conventional, you can get a 2-3' section of 2" PVC and use that as a driver. Later, Doug
Hoblick
USD or conventional, you can use PVC. just split the PVC in half, put both halves around the fork tube..
Pokey
Are you "sure" they need replaced? If leaking you should give this a try first, might just be bug guts or dirt under the seal. My WR was leaking really bad from one fork, used this and it totally fixed the leak.http://sealmate.net/

bshultz0930
ok, so the pvc pipe worked, just have to shave a little off for it to fit into the fork to get the seal all the way downBUT** ive only done one so far, and i noticed that its much stiffer when i didnt change any settings but i did change the fluid, im sure thats normal going to new fluid, but i just want to make sure, thats my first time ever rebuilding forks, so i honestly just dont know.
