  1. Whats up guys, im Ryan and i have a 99 Trans am. Im from cleveland but im a freshman at OSU this year. Was big into the cleveland scene back home but im not there anymore haha so i figured id try and get into whats going on down here. Plus i heard columbus has some pretty sick cars.. so im just hoping to get know some people and have some fun. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x295/PurpleProbeGt95/DSC_0048-2-2.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x295/PurpleProbeGt95/DSC_0113-1.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x295/PurpleProbeGt95/DSC_0115.jpg Car is full bolt on minus an underdrive pulley. Got the car when i was 17 from a guy in SC who just wanted to get rid of the car. We straight up traded my 98 stang gt for this (what a steal). Car had 38k on it, now it has about 43k. Was also an A4 when i got it but I reallly wanted a 6spd so back in september i did the swap in my garage and its now got a t56. Another reason for the swap was i shattered the converter once and it started bouncing off the limiter on the 2-3 shift so i said screw the 60e. As an A4 with just headers and a crappy flowmaster it put down 320whp and 333tq. Now its full bolt on but i havent dyno'd it. Went 13.0 at 108 bouncing of the limiter last year as an A4 also. woulda easy been a 12.7 if the trans was solid, i was so pissed haha. heres a vid of that run http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x295/PurpleProbeGt95/th_MOV00246.jpg

  3. And I'm up the food chain from your little bitch ass, any way you want to fucking cut it. What, you want to compare paychecks? W2's? You'd better be deeeeep into six figures, Dr. Glorified Massage. Wait, how about degrees, GPA, or years of education? Yeah, I figured I've got you covered there. I've got two degrees and graduated at the top of my doctoral class with a GPA that'd bitch slap a stegosaurus. Okay, how about we compare IQ scores then? I can have MENSA fax you my shit -- yeah, that organization where you have to have a genius fucking IQ to get in. Or maybe we can just post up our pics and see who doesn't look like some chromosomally-challenged troglodyte? Lead, it what's in your fucking drinking water. You're an elitist prick and a bully - just the type of person I like to humiliate. You want to act like you can look down on people just because of what you do for a living or how much you make? This is why I enjoy making you look fucking retarded.

  4. Hi all. I've lived in central Ohio all my life and I'm currently a first year student at OSU. I've been drag racing for 12 years, starting when I was eight in the Jr Drag Racing League and now Sportsman/Street classes. Now in to the important stuff. 3 years ago I bought a 1992 Camaro RS. It was a 305 TBI with a five speed and shortly thereafter my dad and I started with modifications. Since the car is built to be a competitive track car the first mod was to take out the 5 speed and swap it for a built 700R4. I know, opposite of what everyone else does but consistency is key in bracket racing so an auto is better in that regard. I took it to the track a couple times and it was slow: mid 16s. The next winter we did bodywork. Jack Maxton body shop did the metalwork: quarter panel skins and fixed rust around the windshield. Then we did the priming, blocking, and painting and I refurbished and polished the wheels. Next we started on power. I got a 5.7 from a 1999 suburban, was in good shape but had over 200,000 miles. It had the vortec heads so had decent power for a factory engine. I put on shorty headers, 3inch all the way back to a flowmaster 40. We kept the TBI and got the factory redone by Dynamic efi, so it is now flash based and fully tune able from the laptop. Also installed sub frame connectors. Ran that setup last year and it did well. Ran low 14s best pass was a 14.00 at 96. This year we took the engine out to freshen it. Got it honed (only 0.001in wear after 205,000 miles and a season of racing!), five angle valve job, and got the seats cut for more lift, all bearing replaced. We got everything back and did some slight porting on the heads, then put it back together: stock pistons, stock rods, stock crank (had to be ground, race grid by fowler), lt4 hot cam kit (lt4 hot cam, lt4 springs, 1.6 full roller alum. rockers), one piece pushrods, and new valve covers. Still have to put it back in the car. Spring break project, then it will need tuned. Should be right around 400hp and 425ft lb of torque which should put it right around mid to high 12s. Other mods from this winter were new Moser axles, new diff cover with set screws to put pressure on the bearing caps, a driveshaft loop, added four temp sensors and a gauge, and I got a 3in cowl hood which we still need to paint. I think that’s about it here's some pics http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww66/92SS3908/CamaroatMarina008.jpg?t=1236991661 http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww66/92SS3908/CamaroatMarina001.jpg?t=1236991817 http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww66/92SS3908/CamaroatMarinaI072II.jpg?t=1236993249 [/img] http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww66/92SS3908/2008NorwalkHighSchoolNationals062.jpg?t=1236993793 http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww66/92SS3908/2008NorwalkHighSchoolNationals063.jpg?t=1236993970
