Thanks to all of you for showing up and for the kind words. I enjoy letting people see my cars, getting in them, sometimes even driving them ... It was great to see people meeting together who previously knew each other only by their posts. I thought it was a good mix of CR's old and new, and a good cross section of ages and backgrounds, all enjoying cars. It was a bit like the Cars & Coffee crew meets Polaris Midnight marauders. I was happy to see that some rode their bikes, and obviously, at least a few of you can really ride! I was pleased to see that many of our CR sponsors and mods/administrators could attend. They are the ones who make this all happen. I hope you got to speak with them and thank them for their hard work (and not just for a weekend, but 365 days a year). Assuming an average of two sandwiches per person, we fed 90 people. My great niece and her fiance were there for the whole event, and they counted 150-160 people total for the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet more of you and talk to you more, but I hope you'll come back again or at least introduce yourself when you see me at a meet. I appreciate it that you made the effort to attend. As you can see, there is plenty of room to host a larger gathering. The deputy sherriff said that he saw no problems of any kind and the city cops stayed away, as we had requested. The landlord and his wife attended (they were the ones who test drove the Bentley) and were very pleased with the event and told me they enjoyed meeting the CR folks. Everyone was respectful and safe, and I really appreciated that. I think that parents were comfortable having their children at the event. There was only one pop can left in the parking lot after everyone left  and no messes anywhere. This confirms what most of us already believed: CR folks aren't the "problem" at the public meets. Many thanks to all of those who helped with the event. Anthony and Brian C have worked with me since February on this event (which I originally thought would occur in late March or April). Brian and Val actually volunteered to handle all of the food, but as I postponed the event their work schedules made it impossible. CR sponsors were all very supportive. A special thanks to Corey, Wyan, Steve, Eric, Brooks and the Slowmotion crew for their hard work having the dyno for us. Their day began early--picking up the trailer, loading their equipment from their shop in Sunbury, transporting it, setting it up, working all day, then repeat process in reverse. They stayed an hour longer than agreed, just to get you last few guys dyno'd. Very kewl. Wagner was great help, all through the planning process as well as showing up at noon to help with the last minute preparation. He also took care of the trash cans during the event and kept an eye on potential problems so I could spend time with the guests. Thank you, sir. Jeffro came out to the garage the day before and helped with cleaning and setup. I hope that our photographers got some good shots of this one side of CR and that they get the chance to share some of their photos in the next few days. Thanks again to everyone for supporting this.2 points

Open House @ Doc's Garage Saturday, June 6th 3-8 p.m. Howald Industrial Park 320 London Road (corner of London and Liberty Roads) Delaware, Ohio 43015 Weather looks great so I am finally able to have CR out to an open house at my garage. Who: All CR members and their families are invited. A few of my non-CR friends will attend, too. The Facility: Not a dream garage, by any means. But room to store and clean my cars with a little room besides for a car or two in-process. There are rest rooms and a water fountain, room to get in out of the weather, plenty of parking on pavement for our cars. Directions: Your best bet is to use GPS. I have a small map in the thread to help as well. The facility is on the north side of the road, just northwest of where Liberty Road dead ends into London Road in Delaware. It is 13 miles from Polaris Sonic, so it’s not really that far a drive! From Columbus, I would recommend a leisurely drive up State Route 315 along the Olentangy River. Just before the route ends at US 23 in Stratford, take Bunty Station Road to the left (west) until it intersects Liberty Road. Turn right (north) on Liberty Road and take it until it ends. Turn left at the light (London Road) and you’ll see the Howald Industrial Park sign immediately on your right. Another scenic route from northwest Columbus would be to go north on State Route 257 until it intersects with US Route 42. Turn right (east) on US 42 until you see the large Delaware water tower on the left and the Jegs Warehouse on the right. That intersection is London Road. Take a left onto London Road, cross the railroad tracks, and you’ll see Howald Industrial Park on your left. For the direction-impaired: Go to the Polaris Sonic. Go west on Polaris Parkway (away from I-71). Cross US 23. Polaris Parkway becomes Powell Road. In the village of Powell, the main intersection is Liberty Road. Turn right (north) on Liberty Road. Follow the Liberty Road signs (it takes a jog to the left at one point on Home Road) until it dead ends into London Road. Turn left onto London Road then take the first drive to the right into Howald Industrial Park. What to do: Slowmotion Motorsports has generously agreed to provide dyno pulls to CR members. On 2WD cars, two pulls are provided for free. On AWD cars, there will be a $15 surcharge. So that as many people as possible can get the chance to have their cars dyno’d, no additional tuning or dyno services are available this day, but of course Wyan or Corey will hook you up with appointment time at their new facility in Sunbury for whatever you need. There is no advance sign-up for the dyno, so come out and work with the SlowMo guys to try to make this happen as efficiently as possible. They hope to do 3-4 cars each hour. I can’t guarantee they can get you done, but I hope that many of you who have never been able to be dyno’d will take the opportunity. Midwestern Auto Group has agreed to provide a new, high-line car for display around 6:00 p.m. It will probably be a Ferrari or Bentley. Sorry, no test rides, but maybe a fun photo op. Hinds Motorsports is planning on bringing a Can-Am Spyder. A number of CR sponsors have agreed to attend with some of their handiwork. There may or may not be a few display tables, but there promises to be some very sharp cars. For kids: there are two fields in front of the property that are mowed, but not smooth like a lawn. If your kids want to bring a kite, frisbie, or some yard games, there is plenty of room for them to play within sight of Mom & Dad but away from the cars. CR football? Plenty of room for that. For photo bugs: This might be one of the best opportunities to get CR photos/videos of people and cars. Food: City Barbeque will provide a basic buffet with sandwiches and two side dishes for approximately 75 people. Food will be served 5:00 – 6:00 only and is free. Plates and cutlery will be provided. If you and your family want to have special food or want to bring something to share with others, feel free to do that, but it isn’t expected. I will have a small table for some food items but please bring serving utensils if you bring something other than finger food. For people arriving later than 6 p.m. who want to eat, see me on site and we’ll put together a pizza order. There is also a McDonald’s down the street and a Drive-through across the street. Beverages: There will be limited soda pop served with the meal. There is a pop machine on-site and the drive-thru across the street. If you have an ice chest, bring it along with bottled water, juice or pop to share with friends—there never seems to be enough cold stuff to drink at meets. Music: a DJ will provide music from CD’s. If you want to bring a CD for him to play, feel free. Seating: I have none! Bring a folding chair for yourself and one for a friend. Security: An off-duty Delaware County Sheriff Deputy will be on-site. Decorum: The purpose is to get together, relax, listen to music, look at cars, and have a good time. There will be children around, so please operate your car safely (there is a 10 mph limit in the industrial park) and watch your language and smoking around the kids. You can smoke outside away from kids and you can smoke in my garage, just not where people are eating or in the room where the food is served. Pets, alcohol and illicit drugs are not allowed on the premises. The owner of the industrial park (John Howald) is planning on attending the event, so please don’t mess things up for me with my landlord by drinking or by doing burnouts in the driveway. He is being generous to accommodate this event. Also, be aware that this is open to all of CR; no doubt some of the people in attendance may not be getting along very well online right now. I would much appreciate it if you at least are civil to each other—you’re not doing yourself or your business any good by arguing and criticizing each other at every chance. You’re all welcome at my place but please check the attitude around my guests. Everyone: introduce yourselves to people you don’t know. A handshake prolly won’t kill you, either. Questions/suggestions/complaints: Please post to the thread or PM me. My voice mail is 740-405-5565. Checklist to bring: Directions, my phone number (740-405-5565) Lawn chairs Stocked ice chest if you want Favorite CD Hat/sunglasses/sunscreen if it’s bright Kite/yard games if you want Camera I look forward to seeing you all Saturday!1 point

Hey, my name's Eric, I know quite a few of you from some meets since I usually go every Friday and Sat nights, friends with a few people on here including Doc, Mark, met a few others today on Saturday at Doc's Garage and at Robs. I am also a current member on Club3g.com and OhioHondas.com. Joining this site to meet some more cool people and learn some more about other cars. I currently work at Cardinal Health as a SAP Analyst, have to admit it is a boring job. But pays alright so I can deal with it. Recently graduated from DeVry with a Bachelors in Network and Communications Management and have my MCSA, A+, and Net+ along with a few other Microsoft Certs. I also own a company which I started last year called Storm Front IT Services, allowing me to do side work legit as well as tax write-offs. I currently have a 3G Eclipse which last dyno'd stock last year at slowmo was at 175hp 174tq, the only thing I have done since is an AEM v2 Intake, SPEC Stage 2 Clutch, and a Fidanza Flywheel. Currently have plans to get a 6G74 3.5L then bore it to a 3.8L and swap some parts from a 6G75. Maybe go to the 4.0L stoker but I am still debating that one. Here are a few pics, these are of the exterior as under the hood there's nothing unless you really want to see a intake. http://stormfrontit.com/images/eclipse/IMGP0391.JPG http://stormfrontit.com/images/eclipse/IMGP0392.JPG http://stormfrontit.com/images/eclipse/IMGP0394.JPG http://stormfrontit.com/images/eclipse/IMGP0395.JPG1 point

With the exception of the terrible placement of my cup holder its great, all black leather, black dash, black carpet, seats are also comfy. I tell you what though, put a large soda from anywhere in that thing, and shifting is a real bitch. Ill take a pic if you want tomorrow of it...worst design I had ever seen.1 point

Hi the name's Carlos. I'm from Puerto Rico, been here for about 10 months now in Ohio. I've been back and forth from Puerto Rico to Ohio to much but finally i stay here . I hope to learn and also maybe share some knowledge here and if possible make some new friends . Well here it is... I have a 99 Acura Integra LS daily driven. Its my only ride. Here's a pic. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/P5120361-1.jpg Well I got a few plans for this ride. First off the engine has never been opened or tampered with, all stock internals. Its only got 79K miles on it now. I've only done a few things to it. So far DC sports headers 4-2-1, DC sports strut bar,Gsport distributor cap & rotor button (transparent red, looks cool but still same :bs: as stock), APC coilovers, Spectra short ram intake, Spectra breather filter for the valve cover. That's it so far for performance right now. Here's pic. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/P5120363.jpghttp://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/P5120365.jpg Yeah I know the valve cover is pealing @_@. So what I'm doing is pealing all the paint off the valve cover (its almost all off). Some future/near plans; Test pipe 3in cat back exhaust system 70mm throttle body Skunk 2 pro series intake manifold Custom full turbo kit Fully programmable ECU Forged internals, Eagle ... As for the interior... its all stock planning on leaving it as is, looks just fine. All it has aftermarket inside would be a Jensen head unit, Scosche wires, MTX woofer (1) and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier (nothing fancy). That's it for the interior. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/PC280298.jpghttp://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/PC280301.jpg Well that's all I have for now or all I can think off at the moment XD. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg135/Gaby01Gaby/PC280313.jpg1 point
