Hello every one! I just found out about this site about a month ago. I been trying to sign up since but the process is a long one. For the record it was easier to enter the Air Force then it was to get an account on this site… Any who, I have an 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi. In 04 they still used the little ‘i’. It is largely stock. I have added some bushings and a harness bar and that is about it. I really stayed away from doing any thing to the engine. I was spending too much money on track days. I was going through brakes and tires like it was nobody’s business. That will happen when you are running two track days a month. That was all out in Nor Cali. Now that I am home and have a real job it has taken away from my track day time. That and me in the wife like to drag race. Ok now I am just rambling. It's a way for me to offset the 112 octane fuel that I have to run in this thing. And, like I said above, I'm building a 434 stroker motor this winter, and THAT is going to be very expensive so anything I can make and bank, is great. I can discuss prices later if I don't get in trouble for posting this! /wink Also, I do love to help guys...and I've got alot of experience actually building and tuning my car. I'm not one of these guys that stands by the fender and is proud that he wrote a check and can launch it without killing himself LOL I'm great with carburetors....not so much with injection (not yet) Take care Scott

I should look at the laws again, but I don't believe any of that is necessary anymore. If I'm carrying and driving I either leave it concealed on my person or put it in my glovebox or center console unlocked. I have never heard the Ziplock bag theory either. Seems pretty silly, but I dunno. As for drinking - Personally I never carry when I think I might even have a beer or 2. If I'm already out and carrying I don't drink at all unless the wife is driving and can legally drive the car with my gun in the glovebox (she has a permit also). Even then I keep myself in check. I'd rather not have to deal with possible legal issues even if I had only one or two beers and get pulled over, some shit happens, etc. Also, I tend to be a bit of a silly ass after several beers, so that's why I prefer to just not have guns around at all if I know I may go full retard.

I recently signed up on the site for multiple reasons. 1. I'm the proud owner of a '70 Pro-street Nova with a 434sbc NA motor. And it's always good to be around fellow gearheads! Some of you guys & gals may know the car, I do NOT have pic's up on any sites that allow me to link it to this thread as of yet, but I will. For now, it's the House of Kolor Candy Purple Nova that goes to all the shows on the west side. 2. I'm also a Jax Wax Distributor for Columbus and I'm going to be vending at the show that is being put on at the shopping center on Aug. 15th. Don't you guys rent the track out once a year for test & tune? My 434 is NA and runs a massive 15:1 compression, but this winter I'm building a supercharged 434 stroker :bangbang: Later Scott
