Hey everyone on CR! I figured I would check out the site, register, and get to know the scene down here. More on that in a second. The personal info My name is Todd, and I'm a 26 year old college instructor/staff member at Terra State Community College in Fremont, Ohio. I teach photography, computer courses, and anything else they need me to. I also design and build smart classrooms. Now on to the cars and why I joined. Why I joined CR I'm planning on moving down to Columbus from Bowling Green (where I live and went to undergraduate and graduate school). I have a large number of friends that live in and around the area, and me and a high school friend are going to start a photo business down there when he gets out of his job in Washington D.C. in 2 years. Cars I drive a 2003 Honda Accord V6 6speed. It's currently got 144k on the clock. It's my daily driver, and I drive it EVERYWHERE. Here's a picture of the car in stock form: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/4909054843_3403f15064_b.jpg When I first got into modding the car (I bought it from the original owner in March of 2006), I quickly realized that there weren't many power mods available for the V6 versions of the Accord. I started out with a Borla exhaust with a custom J-pipe, AEM V2 CAI, and an underdrive pulley. Fast forward a few years, and now I have new AMR coilovers, new wheels, and upgraded front and rear sway bars. It handles really nicely, and looks even better. Here's the car as it sits now: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4076/4869312457_5fc9d736b2_b.jpg Dropped to a 1 finger gap all the way around http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4134/4869923138_051da0cf23_b.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4075/4869311185_999b31b3b5_b.jpg *That's an upside down sway bar sticking down in the front... getting it turned around this weekend. The car ran a 13.98 on DRs at Norwalk. On street tires, it ran consistent 14.3x all day. Not too bad for a good DD that gets 28-35 mpg depending on how I drive it. Previous cars included a 1999 Dodge Caravan (first "car" and a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta GLX Vr6<--loved that car, but had too many electrical issues) Hobbies As I said, I teach photography, and I enjoy photography immensely. I shoot with a Nikon D300. I enjoy shooting sports, and I shoot for BGSU Athletics. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2589/4130679236_0dee49c44a_z.jpg I also shoot cars from time to time for members of ToledoTuners. Cars are fun to shoot, but its tough competing with other car photographers. I try and stick to the rolling car shots. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2528/3825774318_13fec0bbe3_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2513/3758958901_5ea966b2ca_o.jpg I also shoot and edit videos, although I prefer photography over video. Here's a promo I shot for NWOR SCCA and ToledoTuners from last year. I'm also into road racing (I spend at least 6 weekends a year at Mid Ohio) and sprint car racing (I drive from time to time if I can get a ride in my friend's 410). Anyways, if you read through all of that... thanks! I'm in Columbus a lot during the year, so I hope to get involved and check out the meets when I get down there. Anything else you want to know, just ask. Thanks for reading!6 points

Hey everyone hows it going? My name is Ian and I'm obviously new to CR and pretty new to the scene in general. I know a little about cars but am trying to learn more. I drive a 1992 240sx Fastback. It is completely stock with the KA24DE and extremely clean. Bought it with a salvage title, had it inspected so i could get plates. I plan on doing everything myself except the bodywork and paint, and the engine swap. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/489/1881/38720940001_medium.jpghttp://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/489/1881/38720940003_medium.jpg http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/489/1881/38720940002_medium.jpg I put a vented Carbon fiber hood on it as well as replaced the hood pins on it. Still needs a little more body work done, so its going to the shop monday! Also put a Megan Racing Catback exhaust on it, since the exhaust needed replaced anyway. Put the exhaust on, wired up the lit sleepy eye mod also. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/489/1889/38720944001_medium.jpg http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/489/1889/38720944002_medium.jpg http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/489/1889/38720944003_medium.jpg I have a couple of plans for it in the future.. *Tint windows darker *Put some Eibach Sportline lowering springs with upgraded shocks on it *Get some Rims and Tires *Drop an S13 SR20Det blacktop in it (I know everyone does it :/ ) *Body Kit/180sx Type X Spoiler and paintjob (either black or blue..) *180sx Type X Kouki Tail Lights *Work on engine mods after Still going for a clean look however.. Not a ricer with a bad paintjob and a huge wing.. I love all things imports and am interested in seeing what Columbus has to offer in terms of the racing scene. Thanks everyone!4 points

ok well I guess I need a better intro, besides the bikes the old lady and I have a 350z, audi a4, toyota supra and therapist van (for transporting the bikes). of course the supra is a N/A with an automatic, and a whopping 32k on the odometer http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-ash1/v64/70/81/12447291/n12447291_35724554_3368.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-sf2p/v64/70/81/12447291/n12447291_35724704_4821.jpg and some of the bikes http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-ash1/v150/70/81/12447291/n12447291_40066599_4167.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs107.snc3/15464_969451125135_12447291_52725018_1702847_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs107.snc3/15464_969451130125_12447291_52725019_1707341_n.jpg3 points

Hello everyone. My name is Mark, im 29 and i work as a Lead Pharmacy Tech currently working on getting CPhT certification. After getting certified one of the places i plan on moving to is Columbus. Kinda want to stay close to the family and friends. interests go from video games to videography. Im A.d.d with interests which doesnt help), that is when schedules meet up and im not stuck at work ( 2-11 shift blows) every night. But i work 03av6coupe in doing our media stuff. Actually wouldnt mind making my way down and getting video of you guys sometime. Always good to add new material. And just for refrence I learned about CR from Toledotuners, which im currently a mod for. So there should be no worries about EMO trolling from me. But after a current post up on our forums, i thought i would sign up as well. I already know a handful of people that reside in the area, and would look forward to meeting more. Everytime ive been down there its been a great time. Ive been in the "scene" if you will, since 2000. Started off with a 98 honda civic, which thankfully i didnt have a lot of money then so i didnt do anything stupid ricey and just had an exhaust, intake and suspension. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/P6280020.jpg?t=1282321260 http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/P6280022.jpg?t=1282321321 In 2005 i picked up an '03 Buell XB9R. Previous ownder did some motor work but unsure exactly what it was. Never really cracked it open to find out, partly in fact since it doesnt leak oil and would like to keep it that way;). it does lobe a little harder than stock buells ive been next to so who knows. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/bike.jpg?t=1282319351 After selling off my 98 i decided to pick up a 92 hatch and learn the right way. Purchased from down in Cbus in Jan '06, i threw out the d series and dropped a b18a into it. added ITR header, apexi mid with a spoon Axleback. The car still needed a lot of work, but in Nov of '06, a motor home decided it needed more room and used it as a curb bumper and tore into it. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/P1010049-1.jpg?t=1282319909 http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/P1010008-1.jpg?t=1282320010 Than in Jan of 07 i purchased a 1997 Civic Hatch. H22a1, Ground Control CO's, LSB, Buddy Club P-1's, Recaro pole position driver and Recaro ITR passenger. I miss this car dearly since being sold. Some may have seen it at some of the Honda meets a few years ago with slomo. Honda-Tech meet at Slomo - Thanks shockerjoe http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/car/n635050943_718750_3100.jpg?t=1282320291 Suja1 meet in chicago http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/suja1motoring007smallpx4.jpg?t=1282320363 and Finally, after selling both Hondas, i decided to go a different direction and go Euro. 1995 M3, Stock (also meaning broken). The last 20 months have been an up and down road trying to save to fix the thing. But after fixing a lot of little problems, im finally able to tackle the suspension. Itll be a really slow build, but all i want is a nice standing, clean car. Dont need anything fast or extreme. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/Powerstationside.jpg?t=1282320850 http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/Powerstationrear.jpg?t=1282320882 http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/Reflection2.jpg?t=1282320921 http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u276/decptcon/Rolling1.jpg?t=1282320951 So that is me. apologies for the extremely long post.2 points

Hi guys I'm adam, I currently work a pretty lame job at Ohio State and Nationwide originally from Cincy as I'm a Bengals Fan! But recently acquired my first Porsche 2001, and was hoping to meet some younger porsche drivers. My previous cars were mainly Japanese imports, haven't gotten around to starting a family yet which is probably a good thing if I want to continue the ideas of picking up expensive fun hobbies and traveling around the world but we'll see, I just got back from Japan. http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/547/c8cfb728.jpg http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/8563/35b4d149.jpg http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/6058/87eeb603.jpg http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/1856/59944ff6.jpg http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/521/debb8b57.jpg2 points

http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/images/billboard-01.png http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/ My personal Mission: I have signed myself up for a 43 mile ride which will take me from Columbus to Amanda, OH and pledged an effort to raise a minimum of $1000 in donations. The reason I'm doing this is in recognition to the people in my life who have have been effected by Cancer in some way or another. I'm sure many people here can relate, so if you could take the time to make any donation, even if it's $5, I would be extremely greatful. And in case anyone was curious, I have already pledged $100 of my own money towards the cause by simply signing up to do this! Please click here if you're willing to donate for my efforts, Thank you! http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/riders_profile.jsp?MemberID=74739 http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/images/LOGO_ICON.jpg About the Pelotonia: Pelotonia is a grassroots bike tour with one goal: to end cancer. Pelotonia raises money for innovative and life saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Driven by the passion of its cyclists and volunteers, and their family and friends, Pelotonia's annual cycling experience will be a place of hope, energy and determination. Pelotonia proudly directs 100% of every dollar raised to research. It is a community of people coming together to chase down cancer and defeat it. Every dollar raised by Pelotonia and its riders goes directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. 2009 Pelotonia Video:1 point

Fair enough ha ha. when its done hopefully you guys wont think its a ricer but well have to wait and see. I was thinking about getting coilovers but since a) im on a college kids budget i dont have a lot of money. I'd rather buy nice springs/shocks then cheap coilovers and b) i dont plan on tracking the car much if at all as it is still my only car therefore its my dd.. I heard that coilovers aren't nearly as comfortable a ride as spring shock. I'm still considering it and have a little bit of time since im getting the rear quarter fixed and painted. After that is an S14 5 lug conversion with z32 brakes. Only time will tell if it turns out to be a ricer1 point

Glad to see you decided to join, Ian. I met Ian through SICCA and suggested he start coming to some CR events since he's into the standard car/tuner/racing stuff that many of us are. He's a great guy---hope he gets in and you get the chance to meet him. Welcome. +rep1 point
