  2. excuse me as I get a little excited about getting a dog of my very own. I'm going to guess some of you more experienced dog owners will say something along the lines of "much like boats, it is better to know someone who has pets than to actually own one yourself" but I've wanted a dog for some time, and just never felt comfortable about taking care of one til now. Actually, I'm not anymore responsible than I was before, but I think I've waited long enough, and there is no better time than now since the gf is unemployed for the foreseeable future. So, without further ado, here he is: I haven't come up with a name yet, so if you have any smashing ideas, let's hear em. Some contenders so far: Bartleby and Ollie. I let her pick the dog (pretty much... though I did like the dog a lot when I met him) so I'm going to assume I get to pick the name. Oh, and as you can see, he is a shelter dog (from Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter). Any tips or advice? He is about 1.5 yrs old, and they think he's a black Lab/Pointer mix.

  3. Yeah a bad-ass Shark with guns and flags and fireworks and more guns on it. All above a tattoo that says "Mom... and death to Commies." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWS-FoXbjVI But, seriously, now that you mention it: it kind of looks like a shark.

  4. Here is picture of said midget: She was a celebrity and a freak show. Honestly, I had no relations with the lady. But had to take a picture of her, memories fade...

  5. Mandingo. Thick, black, and will soon be pushing an oriental kid out of his bed wif his girl. Congrats on the new pup, and good luck with the training. I have a 4 month old English Mastiff at home now, and she's done real well so far. My $.02...socialize, socialize, socialize. That is good for them. Then again, being that he's black and needs to be socialized, you should call him Obama.

  6. Only one? ZX14 here...I own the best bike I've ever ridden. I love it. It does it all. Best 2 wheeled machine IMO so far. I'm happy. I'll get the ZX-16 when it comes and then edit this post probably.

  8. I have a nice CB750K5 and have scoured for parts, etc. - If the original 4 into 4 pipes are still there, that's an easy $300 even if they need patched. - Badges and such, if in good shape, bring good money also. - Chrome that isn't pitted is $$$ - The tank and side panels are $$$ if in any kind of shape. - The seat is an easy $100 if it isn't ripped. Let me know if you don't buy it!

  10. OK, more substance... My Z06 is stock for now except for the black Modular Concepts staggered rims with red pin-stripes but I'm sure there will be more to come. I hard-wired a Valentine One in it right after I got it... http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1304/4661382671_ed703a884b.jpg 17807_03 by harmonda, on Flickr My GTO had Racemesh kidney and lower grilles, SLP long-tubes, SLP LM2 (loud as h3ll), Lingenfelter Intake, Hotchkis bars, Drag bags, a B&M strut brace, Predator Diablo tune, 19" Axis Milanos with BFG KDWs, custom catch can, Optima Red-top, Hurst short-throw shifter, etc... I did a few Hot Rod Power Tours with it. It's an awesome time if you can get free for it. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3376/3513066230_a8431242f2.jpg DSC00294 by harmonda, on Flickr My 99 is stock except for a GMPP big brake kit and an Optima. It is classic Corvette white with firethorn red interior. My wife has daily driven it since 2001. My 68 has hooker headers and side-pipes and a MSD distributer but is otherwise fairly stock. I haven't had it long and will be doing a mild restore on it soon to prep it for a future Power Tour. Oh yeah...the 'rescue'/winter vehicle is a 99 Superduty Crew Cab 4x4 with a car hauler. (vette's don't have spares ya know). I do almost all my own work on my cars. Mostly I'm just cheap but I also like to know what workmanship has gone into it. I have a lift in my garage/barn and would rather be out there working on a car than about anything else.
