Hey guys I'm Kevin, I have an '03 ZO6 that i recently bought. I am always trying to learn which is why I have decided to join. I am always trying to better myself and I never think I am better than the rest. I am hoping to meet and become friends with people that have similar interests that I have and equally important, getting together with them around town.

First this is very simple and I'll explain it. 1. remove front stand 2. start bike 3. get on bike 4. put bike into 2nd gear (not first but second!) 5. give the bike gas and get it up to speed. 50mph should be sufficent 6. hold on 7. Rock bike back and foward until you hit the sweet spot 8. mission complete

Not completely but usually if you have no RPM's, your CPS is gone. How many miles are on it? If you go through all the other trouble shooting stuff and can't figure it out, I would just replace the CPS. There is also a pick up in the distributer that could be the problem. Worst case, fried PCM, I fried two of them in less than a year. Once due to bumping the cord from my computer connected to the PCM through OBD-II port, so it lost the tune I was doing and crapped out. Second, I by passed the MSD box due to it going out, was just running an after market coil with stock ignition. Big no-no I guess, the PCM fried with-in miles. When it fried the second time, I had the same exact thing you are describing. Good luck!

my gut is crank position sensor....those are usually the (spark) cause of non start conditions that don t throw codes....check to see if you physically have spark

take a hair dryer to the cap for a bit and i bet it starts

I'm going to bet that you have spark but its weak or not on all cylinders those motors are bad for eating caps and rotors.... pull the cap off and see what it looks like inside probably moisture related

Hey eveyone my name is Calab. I have a couple of foxbody's. I have a 1989 saleen red #189 with 105,000 miles. Currently stock. Parts that are bought but not on the car are GT40 heads, Cobra intake, Trick flow stage 1 cam, 3:73 gears and a vortech t-trim (going to be my street car).. Then I have a 89 gt in peices. Plans for it are a 351w set ported stock heads 5 angle valve job,tubuler gt40 intake and a 250 shot of spray with 4:11's and a c4 with a 3,000 stall (if it ever gets done). My dd is a 2005 acura tl. I work for the Scotts fertilizer plant in Marysville. I am married with no kids 26 years old love to race and party. Hope to meet some of you soon!
