Who are we to play Internet Price Cop? If it's priced high, don't buy it. If someone asks why their bike isn't selling, go for it.

IMO If a person selling says they want to sell it QUICK and this is a great deal, I'm going to tell them why they haven't sold it YET.. Its not going to sell QUICK at that price.. IF they said they wanted 5500 OBO and were willing to wait for some 16 year old that doesn't know jack and gets his first bike, then they might sell it.. Just trying to help them out by telling them why it wont sell QUICK!

You are I are actually in agreement. I was jsut saying that gear is not a guarantee of safety, but it doesn't hurt to wear it. Don't forget the Chinese man who jumped from 22 floors and survived.... And Dr Atkins who slipped on ice and died. Accidents are inherently dynamic events that are difficult to predict. Any amount of gear may or may not help - it's a roll of the dice. Having said that, hitting a minivan head-on at road speeds is like a roll of heavily weighted dice. I'm ATGATT becuase i want to give myself the best chance of coming away from an accident with a few injuries as possible, but I'm not kidding myself that a helmet is a 30' wide magic force field of silk pillows or some such bollocks.

This is different than someone next to you in traffic when you are both civillians. At that point I consider eye contact to be a challenge and get out and brutally murder the other guy with a spork. An officer is going to be taking greater interest in the cars around him and he's looking for minorities to taze, and if he looks over and you're hiding your face or spend the whole light cycle staring through your passenger window because he's on your left... Well... They he may just consider you to be an honorary minority until he can wear out the batteries in his X26.

IMO upgrades dont add to the price... much.. just makes it a better seller. and you can keep a firmer price.. plus dealrers have to leave haggle room. noone should ever buy a bike or car for sticker price...

You know, I've met many people, and know some personally with Master Degrees and PhD's, and have listened to them cuss or call people "fucking retarded or stupid". Cussing doesn't have anything to do with illiteracy or uneducated; it just means the person isn't a religious individual. If you're not religious, then cussing is no big thing.
