  4. Hello all, moved to columbus last year for a job, and finally getting my build underway. Back in 2007 I bought my first car as a 2000 V6 5spd Mustang with about 90k miles on it. Now at 150,000k miles I've finally got the time/income to mess with it. Currently the engine and transmission are sitting out of it, and replacing it in February will be: 94 Supercoupe Shortblock w/ forged crank/rods/pistons 00 Mustang ported heads/intakes Custom Grind Camshaft Upgraded springs/retainers New upper intake Custom stainless steel turbo kit with Master Power turbo (T3 S50) 39lb injectors 310lph fuel pump BA 2400 MAF Wideband/boost/other gauges Tokico Dspec adjustable shocks/lowering springs CC plates Swaybars Gforce t5 transmission with 26spline input Cobra 26spline clutch Cobra 13" Front brakes New Tires/wheels. Ive been collecting these parts for the past year, so I'm pretty excited to get them all into the car. Been a long time coming, and I look forward to showing the progress of this build on CR.com and hopefully meeting other enthusiasts in the area.

  5. Thanks. I've been researching everything for quite a while. If I had a nickel for everytime someone told me to put a v8 in it, I'd have a new roush RS3. But this has been fun so far, and being 24 I've got plenty of time to build other stuff. I figured it would be fun to build my first car to learn, and catch a couple looks along the way.

  6. Your guns need exorcised at the range to remove the evil spirits. They may still retain some attitude but will then be safe in the hands of a well trained owner for home defense and target practice.

  7. I lock it in a safe, as is a reasonable and commonsense precaution. Otherwise it will float up the stairs on its own and out into public and wreak untold havoc.

  8. Nothing like coming home for Christmas and your mom washing your coat with out telling you until she mentions " glad to know you are practicing safe sex". Turns out some of the condoms I left in there got stuck to the glass. Good thing my dad never goes in there.

  11. Couple suggestions. If you flip your sight and BUPS. When using your BUPS you will have greater accuracy from a longer sight radius. By putting the sight on a riser, you will have better cheek weld and will be able to have a co-witness (with absolute or 1/3) with your fight sight, instead of the dot being blocked by the FSP. Remove the mag holder thingy. If you want a spare mag, put one on your belt or get a Readi-mag.

  12. Look I am not a religious person god and I have not seen eye to eye in more than 40 years since the loss of my oldest son I thought the poem was a nice thought since I understand how the parents are feeling right now. The thing about no saving you was meant as a joke Enough said

  13. No, you are not reading his post clearly. He said he prefers the piston system because the rifle stays cool, not because of any functional difference. 210 rnds with DI and your rail will be smoking hot. 210 rnds with a piston and just the gas block heats up. Significant comfort difference, minimal cleanliness difference. He was shooting while serving time as a semen, hence the full auto.
