Also realize that if only half checked against half, the actual national total would possibly be around 4 times higher, not two. So these results for one average state times 50 times 4 = 200 times higher for national numbers. I suppose if and when votes cast exceeds the actual voting age population, some one will say we're all lying about the actual size of the population. Oh wait dang it, we already did that... we don't have to be citizens of this countries population in order to vote. Let me re-think this...1 point

Yeah, I've never replaced a crush washer either...I use my calibrated torque wrist and have not once ever had an oil leak. Sent while riding1 point

It's not always stressful but it's controlled. They expect you to build a good training environment where you have the ability to practice what you are expected to do (and deal with) in a combat environment... Strict policy's make the person transition into a soldier and this does not happen in 8 weeks. Look, I am an advocate for liberty. I do not think people should be controlled by rules that take away that liberty. However, when you raise that right hand, you are going above your personal freedom and giving yourself over to the will of the government. That is why Vets are held in such high regard. They gave their freedoms for others to have freedom.1 point

This thread is a prime example of what is wrong with America. 'I don't need a crush washer, it never leaks'. 'I don't need a torque wrench, I've never stripped a drain plug.' Let me rephrase those statements, 'I am going to do the least amount of work to get the job done and take no pride in what I do.' This is why the rest of the world is kicking our butts in manufacturing. Bet if you people did this for a living you would still reuse crush washers and not torque it and want 50 bucks an hour, 4 weeks vacation, retirement and free healthcare. BTW, the crush washer is a very important part of the torque process, contrary to what seems to be the common opinion here it's primary purpose isn't just to prevent leaks. It's part of a proper torque. Meanwhile, have we heard from the OP again? Seems he still needs an oil change and there are lots of us willing to help.0 points
