Hey all, Me: My name is Mike. I work at a local advertising agency by day, and by night I'm an obsessive car geek. I moved to Columbus almost exactly a year ago by way of Dayton (originally from Cleveland), and have just now found my way to the local scene. I frequent quite a few other car forums, and find myself addicted to discussing the details of this hobby that consumes so much of my time and energy. I am a moderator over at 300zxclub.com, so I am happy to say that I am not the typical noob who can't search, find his way around the internet, or understand the finer points of criticism. The Cars: I picked up my 1992 Nissan 300ZX in December of 2000, and have driven that both as a DD and now as a weekend car ever since. It has been my obsession, my pride and joy, and continues to be my rolling therapy session most days. It's a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. For a car enthusiast, finding a mint DD with Recaro seats, 6spd and BBS wheels stock, was completely awesome. My commute has never been so much fun. I have been active in local AutoX events for the past seven years (minus last summer for all-around maintenance) and hope to seek out others in that circuit as well. alright everybody, just got back on sorry for the delay. to answer everyones questions: i did not buy the car from new york, i have had this car for about a year in a half i did use to have a 99 black si and was pretty involved with ohiohondas a little bit more about myself: like a said, i have been involved in ohiohondas, ohionissans, ohiodrifting. i have had civics, 240sx's, corollas, as well as my evo. i grew up working on camaros and chevelles so im pretty well rounded. up until this post, i never even felt a need to check that site out. Now, i wish i hadnt, it made my head hurt. all i can view is the garage area and there were a whole 2 timeslips, the fastest being a mustang GT with 5X something modifications, only running a 13.77 lol.
