  1. Not a motorcycle shop, but by far one of the best butchers in the piqua / Troy/ Sidney area. They are located in Sidney on wapakoneta avenue . Fantastic meat, prices and selection. Customer service is great as well. As a first time customer , I shall return!

  5. You will need to seek out info on a state by state basis. Packing.org was the best source when I was investing a similar question a few years ago. Guns in Federal are governed by the regulations of the state in which that park is located. This is new as of 2010. Previously restrictions in federal parks were much more onerous.

  6. Can I video that attempt and youtube it? I'll call it "Stupid guy frantically hanging off the side of a bike as it plows forward uncontrollably into the tire barrier". I'll make thousands of dollars from the youtube ads.

  8. I agree. It's a completely ignorant 'retort,' but the fact is supply and demand dictate the salaries of most professions. There are millions of Americans who meet the military's qualifications to be a soldier, and only a few thousand athletes in the world who can perform at the level the NFL demands. Salary should not be viewed as a direct correlation to value or worth. (not to mention the fact that the notion that all the military does is 'kill people' is ridiculous.)

  9. Corey......'06-'08 ZX14's "can" ( loose term as it's rare ) be had in the $5k-$6k range. I bought my '08 in early '09 for less than $8500 @ 5k miles with Brocks system and pc3 already tuned. There's good deals out there for them, just gotta hold out until they reveal themselves. Told myself I'd wait at least a year to buy a bike after selling my YZF......yeah, that lasted about 5 weeks before I was convulsing and dry heaving from the withdrawal symptoms. Wasn't even shopping for a hyper, really wanted a Concours but the new one's had just been out a year so all were $10k or more -- and when this 14 popped up on CL, I dove on it. Jeremy......is your cel # still the same? I may hand out your number to a guy here at work that is showing some interest......Oh, and if the asking price is paid out, would you consider lending him your face just for 30 minutes as a vagina simulator? If not, he did say it "probably" wouldn't be a deal breaker.....but it would surely sweeten the pot

  12. Sucks to hear Jeremy, hope everything works out and you get what you're asking. I'll ask around and let ya know if anyone bites on it. Fair price so it should sell quickly enough. You'll love the 14. Comfy, capable, and goes from crusin' to mach in a twist of the wrist

  13. Thanks guys, really don't want to sell her but having money in the bank and piece of mind are more important than the bike right now. I'll have another bike eventually, maybe a nice scooter after tax return! If not, in 2 years once the car is paid off I'm getting a ZX-14 and joining the hypersport club No I'm not getting it cause it goes fast, I love the looks and just love the design of the bike in general.

  16. When I am riding at anything close to freeway speeds I can lock the throttle and take my hands off the bars. I can lean my bodyweight to make the fine corrections to keep my bike in the lane ok, but as far as changing lanes? Maybe a very long, slow and precarious lane change - certainly not happening at any normal lane-change rate. Swerving or cornering? Forget that. Cornering my bike requires proper counter-steering unless I'm going less than walking speed. I'm not a small guy either, over 6'3 and 220lbs riding a DL650. If I lean over the side enough to steer through any actual bend or turn in the road I'd fall off before having any appreciable steering effect.

  18. A myth I am seeing frequently, and never corrected: "Standing on the pegs will weight them and lower the center of gravity on your bike." I think this was even somewhere in Keith Code's book. Just no. Physics 101 fail.

  22. Kieth code already disproved the whole leaning and foot peg thing in twist of the wrist 2. He proves that the only thing that makes the bike turn is the front wheel turning. Pressure on pegs or leaning of body weight just offsets the center of gravity slightly causing the bike to attempt to right itself by turning the bars. So even tho you get a little bit of turn, its only because the bars are moving.

  23. Finally remembered to look for the month-old target while riding. Look closely at that "chicken". There's something green and plant-like growing out of it. Moving along, next will be a Waterfall (and bigger is definitely better).
