  1. Greetings, members of CR. My name is Lucas and I live in Colorado Springs Colorado. I drive a 2005 Infiniti G35x. A friend introduced me to Columbus Racing and Columbus Cars and Coffee last year. I am a die-hard lover of all things automotive, and have spent the last year learning everything I can about cars. Currently, I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of Colorado, and work on oval track and road course race cars on Thursdays at a local shop. I look forward to learning more from those of you with something to teach. As far as modifications go, I have none for the G. Yet. My primary focus has been maintaining it well, and doing some preventative and prep work.

  2. All manufactures have a dud pass through every so often. Back in 2006 I was with a friend who just purchased a brand new R1, we were riding together direct from the dealer after delivery and I assure you the bike was never revved over 4,500 when at 46 miles a rod came through the engine block.

  3. Double check, some items are covered under a separate federally mandated emissions warranty. Side note, I almost forgot what an EGR valve is, since GM has VVT on almost everything, we don't need them any more.

  4. mine grows pretty slow i think, but I'm about 2 to 3 months of no trimming.. I'm just letting it go. i usually get fed up with it and trim it down short after about 3 months, but I'm gonna really try to keep this one going, plan is to try to make it to summer atleast, id like to grow it as long as i can, but we shall see how that goes

  5. Parenting WIN. My kids have always had me make their costumes, but this year I just didn't have time and my daughter refused to go as anything other than a character from the movie frozen. Next year, zombie babies everywhere at my house.

  6. Travis: I know it's considered bad form to shit in someone's FS thread, but since the bike doesn't actually belong to you and you're posting it for your buddy, I gotta just come right out and say what prolly 99.9% of the readers of your ad are thinking: A 13 year old salvage bike that's been beaten on stop-light-to-stop-light for xx,xxx miles, modified, chopped up, wrecked, missing all the expensive OEM plastics, with frame damage, electronic issues and an oil leak, is barely worth the gas money to cart off the remaining parts. Your buddy would be hard pressed to put it on CL and get an offer to trade for a broken X-Box and 43 pirated Chinese knock-off game cartridges. You can buy a fairly nice bike of the the same vintage for about the money he's asking. Do him a favor and tell him to keep it and ride it until one of those "jankey" motor mounts lets go. There. I said it. Sorry, Casper….I couldn't help myself. Now I can go back to enjoying my weekend.
