Needed new tires bad and wanted to get my suspension set up in a basic street way. During the front tire install, he found a blown fork seal and was able to get it taken care of within a day. The bike feels great now! Just got back from a 300 mile ride and no complaints from the PR4s or the sag setup. Thanks a lot for the help, you're a gracious guy.

My search skills suck and I can't find the previous thread. Take time to read that tech manual. You will learn a ton about batteries. No reason yours should have choked that soon. How you put a battery in service is the most important thing you can do to achieve long battery life. Lead acid and agm batteries require different care. The agm in my Super Hawk is 13 years old. I get 5 or 6 on the Wing with lead acid. Improper charging technique and or equipment will also kill a battery.

Comfort is obviously a big factor for many reasons, for me its safety. If you are hurting all the time, it becomes quite distracting and could cause yourself to get caught out in a turn or something like that. Good move for the both of you! Now you can enjoy the ride a little more with less distractions.

Plug it. As long as you monitor your pressures (you should anyway), even in case of plug failure what's going to happen? It's going to slowly leak. They don't explode when they fail...you should have ample warning, and you can re-plug the failure. I've plugged probably 5 or 6 tires and ran them to the end of the tire without any issue. I don't even hesitate now, as long as you use a good plug quality.

Back when I was new way back when I would make similar posts and the rides rarely happened and couldn't figure out why. Then I went by the old Field of Dreams "if you build it they will come" and sure enough it made things way better!

I'm just glad that your happy with the service. thats my main goal is to make sure anyone who comes in gets what they pay for and more. i like people to leave happy and with a better understanding of what was done and why this does that. and i always like to give a few suggestions of things that could be improved more if you do so desire.
