Just thought I would post up to say I had a great ride to work this morning. The weather was great....high 50's (felt refreshing and relaxing), sunny, not much traffic to deal with. It was nice seeing a few other bikers and doing the friendly biker wave. Riding to work always puts me in a good mood but its hard to pull into the parking lot and not keep riding for a while longer.

Welcome. I have heard great things about the new 250. I'd like to get one for my firl in a year or so. If there are any left, save one for me....I'll hide it from the ole' lady

The tires are Dunlop Roadsmarts. They are a new sport touring tire with great grip and supposedly long mileage...I have a couple hundred miles on them now and I love them. I took turns easy for the first 50 miles but Im pushing as hard as I can now...Actually, I was pushing them pretty good the first day out on them...They heat up quick and suprisingly are pretty sticky. Hopefully I can get as good of mileage out of them as Dustin is getting out of his Pirelli Diablo Strata

Man I have been waiting fot this thread but just now found it...it was fun pimping out Matt's bike, I love the feeling of making things custom and changing from stock. Any time spent at Dustin's "shop" is good times..I have fond memories of doing things to my bike too. When you run into a problem, there is normally a resource somewhere to solve it.
