  1. I'm currently building one of these now, and after a long time looking into it, you'll either need to buy one pre-fit like Walther said, or you'll need to get one inletted for your bottom metal.

I'm going to inlet and install my own bottom metal on an aftermarket stock, and you just need to do some research on which stocks fit your barrel contour and also fit the required inlet for you DBM kit.

  2. Random thread-jack question gentlemen....

Tula steel absolutely will not shoot in my AR. Brass of all kinds all day, but Tula steel always short-cycles the bolt. Should I be softening the buffer spring or maybe lightening my buffer?

  3. Venting and getting shit off your chest is important. I love Lyns' date=' but sometimes I just want to lift her off the ground by the throat and squeeze her neck until her face turns blue and her legs stop kicking. Knowing when to vent and the proper way to do it is important. If things were volatile enough at home for you to stay at a hotel, then stay at a hotel. There's nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you just have to get away, clear your head, reset your priorities and handle your business. Marriage is trying, for both partners. I know I drive Lyns up the damn wall sometimes. How she puts up with me is beyond my comprehension. She's an amazing person and sometimes I lose sight of that. Every now and then we get into some real shit, but we're usually back into the swing of things by the next day. Learning to let go of the stupid shit is hard to do, but very much worth the effort.

Side note: Today is our 6th anniversary. That's not an April Fool joke, either. :)[/quote']

You are in severe danger of sounding level-headed, and you knock that shit off right now, sir...

  4. I wear contacts everywhere since I can't function without them, the track is no exception. I couldn't imagine trying to wear glasses in a helmet, pressing against the sides of your head, but that's just my preference.

I've never had a problem with contacts blowing off, but I've gotten used to wearing them with the mindset that if they aren't taken care of I'll be blind. It's amazing that you'll put up with when it's your only option.

  5. are the beatles that much better than the biebers?

Guess it depends if you're a top or a bottom.

Cool thing about the XCR is that the charging handle does not reciprocate with the bolt like the others. :)

That would've been nice. That .308 didn't seem to care if my thumb was there or not. The mistake was not repeated.
