So sorry to hear that....me deepest condolences.

Over the last three months I rented 2011 Sonata twice, in the first trip I put about 3500 miles along the east coast and in the second trip about 2000 miles in SC, NC and TN. I drove it hard, really hard ...and included blueridge, US129 and Cherohala etc. My opinion: It was very comfy for long rides suspension wise but handled like a bmw in the corners, nice sport suspension as well, nice balanced suspension what I mean by that. "SUPERB BRAKES" like any top euro elite models. They were rental with cloth interior but if it's leather then I would give it 9 out of 10 for interior. Now all these cars were less than 10K. So the only thing I don't know how will it perform in the long run....first impression on handling to me is better than () accord and camry...but under the hood.....time will tell...and yeah.....it's a good looking car...give it a serious look....
