  1. OK I am home just now..........hell....yeah........stories/pics.....coming up...missed ya guys Sat night......just family party.....but still with the kiddo until 3.30....and I was at the ground again at 8.30.....gosh..need some sleep......

  2. your wash techniques are what are making the paint swirl.

invest in a grit guard fro your wash bucket, and also a 2 bucket method with heavy nap wash mits are great. and try using compressed air or a leaf blower to dry the bike off after washing..

along side that .. dont use dish soap get some decent car wash like meguirs or something.

dish soaps strip wax off of painted surfaces.

as for removing swirls.. youll be very hard pressed to do much in the way of removing swirls without some kind of machine. but if you wish you can try some meguirs swirl remover, and alot of time. hand rubbing the stuf.. jsut follow the directions. and youll probably have to do a few passes per sections.

also use only micro fiber towels when wiping away your wax or whatever.

Thanks a lot man.......and yeah I use a good car wash, I just used the dish soap only one time to strip the old wax....and I dry it always with the leaf blower.......rest I got it....have to try

  3. OK serious question about motorcycle detailing:

This is what I did last time: washed it with lil bit of dishwashing soap in a bucket of water, washed off, blow dried then just applied the nxt 2.0 wax. It was OK. But what I see is lots of swirls etc.. blah blah mainly on the tank.

Suggest me something easy and practical.....for the tank and the plastics (I have vinyl decals).....does not have to be show bike quality and stuff easy to find in auto stores....

    Thanks a lot man....

  4. Christ..... Bambi's got almost as much rep as me in just 2 months

Fu@k it...... I'll whine about my love life on here & let someone stiff me on some chicken wings for 20,000 points by October!!

My wife was bein' a real %itch tonight & got everyone dinner but me ;)

if she see that your last boneless chicken wing with blue cheese will also be taken away......

  5. I'm so sorry to hear about your doggie. My Reilly Bean has a terminal cancer...squamous cell in his nasopharengeal area that is literally eating away the roof of his mough. He drools blood on a daily basis. I though last week was the time to put him down but the vet said that since he's still running all over the house, playing with the other cats, and purring all the time he probably has another 2 months left. She just increased his pain medicine and he's even more perky now. Go figure. You're right animals are VERY resilant and you never know anything is wrong (usually) until the very end. I pray all works out with your dog. I understand what it feels like to have your heart ache b/c of your animal. I cry on a daily basis when I hold my Reilly. Animals are family you know.....and FYI we do care! :)
My thoughts and prayers are with your Reilly Bean! I'm glad you'll have more time with him!

They are family members, simple as that.

Thoughts and prayers........for all of them....the incredible family members.....

  6. I was talking w/ Carie the other day and she strongly recommended not riding the bike there, b/c it just isn't worth it. :dunno:

I back Carie....not worth it at all.....lot of bikes destroyed/damaged.....even at the red carpet ducati lot during that strong wind and downpour........
