  3. he negotiates, ehh, pretty cool, I'm off sundays and mondays, so yeah, that would be cool!
  4. It's about time you get back Nick, now go buy a supermoto bike!
  5. just use the rear brake to keep from flipping, for one wheel push down, or pull back on the handlebars back and forth to steer (it will pivot the bike), don't turn them when on the back wheel, that pretty much does nothing.
  6. Yeah, I got a letter once, it was delivered like 6 weeks late cause my mail person SUCKS, obviously I was not able to respond in time. all the numbers on the mailing were automatic BS recordings, and the response time had expired, there was nothing I could do. nothing ever happened.
  7. your going to have a lot of gaskets to replace, and its gonna get costly, make SURE you have the service manual when you do it, and lookup on the fiche the prices of all the gaskets and parts your going to need. your basically rebuilding the entire engine to do this. Because pretty much everything has to come apart to change out a transmission gear. while your in there, inspect everything to make sure its ok, check your cylinder and piston, valves and seats, everything. The service manual will give procedures on how to do this. would suck to get it back together and figure out a shifting fork is bent or something. anyway if you go over the entire engine checking every possible wear part, its gonna end up taking some time. honestly I would not buy a bike that needed 2nd gear replaced, unless I was getting it for like 500 bucks and the bike was worth 4000 or something. its a lot of work. If 2nd gear needs replaced, they were tearing on the engine pretty hard, and possibly you are going to find other stuff with significant wear inside that you will want to replace, before you know it, you've got way more money in the bike than you wanted to spend, just one possible scenario.

    Bored

I've been taking apart bikes downstairs at my house, and cleaning plastic and various unexposed parts, then putting them back together just because I am bored, anyway pretty much all my bikes are been completely gone through, now I am out of stuff to do. I am so bored. so far then winter I have.... Completely rebuilt my 400EX top end, did the valve adjustment. Replaced the clutch cable, put on some new Pro Taper bars, and pro taper grips. Took the XR80 apart, stripped the graphics, put a handbrake on it, cleaned all the plastics and various parts, put it back together, replaced all the cables and levers. Took the CRF250X apart, had a custom subframe made, installed it, installed a radiator fan, did the valve clearance check, took all the plastics off and cleaned them, made a custom trail tech gauge mount. relocated the hotstart cable, put a dual caliper handbrake setup on it. On the LTR450 I made a custom handbrake, did an easypull clutch mod, changed the oil and filter. On the CRF230F I changed the oil, stripped it down to the bare engine, cleaned all the plastics and various parts, adjusted the throttle cable, removed and cleaned the front caliper then remounted. replaced the bars with MSR bars, I had to resew the msr pad because msr sewed it wrong at the factory. did a easypull clutch mod. (still waiting for a new throttle tube and grips I ordered) then reassembled. removed the exhaust and ordered a new one, still waiting for that too. On the CBR929 I changed the oil with ams oil. anyone else going crazy waiting for summer, what have you done?
  9. work has been SLOW today for me.
  10. who wants to go? I'm gonna go. http://www.haspinacres.com/
  11. disadvantages include, taking 2 weeks to change a tire. lol
  12. if anything you could sue your work for asking you to work on the computer, and the fan blade broke on your finger, and made your finger hurt. Remember you do live in ohio, this kind of crap flys all the time here. I heard on the radio if someone shovels the sidewalk in front of their house, and a pedestrian slips and falls, they can sue you. but if you dont shovel it, and they slip and fall, they cannot sue you.
  13. if that was my wife, I would hunt down that guy after he got out of jail, and I would run over him with my truck, that way I would only get 90 days in jail for killing him. Honestly though i would probably visit him in jail and kill him with my bare hands.
  14. the fan should not have broke, its not your fault, I stop fan blades with my fingers on server grade pc setups before, when they are making noise, purposely. none of them have ever broken. that plastic had a bad mold or something. you work needs to purchase the new fan. again, not your fault.
  15. lol, I know, I thought it would be a funny trick, lol!
  16. Casper is right, I switched a few years ago, yahoo loses emails, takes too long to deliver, and google loads faster, and does not have huge 6 inch ad's jumping across the damn page.
