  1. am i gonna have to punch a baby? i have an 05 600rr and the connector looks the same as what you ordered but your list says 03-04. :???:

I ordered the wrong connector for your bike, take a look at this connector, I fairly sure your bike's speed sensor uses this connector, I'm going to order some of them...

  3. lol How the hell did they decide to do it?

Also... I was wondering if there was any reason this wouldn't work on a vehicle, say a jeep with larger tires... I wouldn't expect you to put ends on it, I have Packard connectors and all the tools to put ends on I could just make something up and splice in a new connection.

yes it should work fine on a car as well :D

  4. I checked it on my work PC, and at home just now. (2 different ISP providers) and it's working with both of them. The webpage loads via port 81, not the typical port 80, you may want to check to make sure you dont have some firewall program ect causing a problem clear your cache, and dns cache, or try another DNS server other than your ISP's, I dont use my ISP's DNS server because it sucks, and its slow, and it does not resolve some internet address names (example photobucket frequently stops working for no reason)

  5. Only way this product would increase HP, is if you had a plug which was not producing enough spark to make a good detonation, and hence not all the fuel was getting burned that could be. A weak spark can cause poor detonation. But there is a optimal spark level where the engine produces the best detonation possible, any increase spark beyond this will not offer you any increased performance at all. All that considered I suppose it is possible some engineers may have designed their engines with a stock plug that might be right below the optimal point, in which case you still would not need these plugs, you could find another plug with a lower R value do accomplish the same thing. ect.

  6. Here's a vid of the Honda CRF Integrated Tail Light I designed,

    Features:

Left and Right integrated turn signal patterns

Brake Light operates during turn signal patterns or by itself.

4 Safety Pulse flashes when the brake light is operated alone.

The LED's look orange in the video, but they are actually red, they are just so bright, they are saturating the optics in the camera.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL3NsKVEaE4

The entire design fits into the tiny LED enclosure. it's all surface mount except the LED's themselves.

Here's a pic inside of the housing...

  7. How you looking on kawasaki pieces , zx10 to be specific , no hurry really just letting you no im still interested . Give me a yell when ya hear more thanks :)

I think the zx14 and the zx10 are the same connector, I'm going to have a zx14 here this weekend to checkout. ;)

  8. connector shipment status check

Those geniuses from Japan screwed up half my connector order, they sent the correct Yamaha connectors, and they sent the wrong honda connectors, after I contacted them they made everything right and sent out a new connector order for me, it should be here in about 7 days (estimated)

  9. Free bump for Brooks! I rode down to help him get some measurements for the GSXR today. Super cool guy and very knowledgeable, unfortunately we ran into a slight problem with Suzuki's design but it sounds like he can iron it out without too much trouble. The units themselves look very solid and I wouldn't hesitate to run one on my bike.

Thanks buddy, leave it to Suzuki to not follow what the other major bike companies are doing, lol, I'll have a revision compatible with Suzuki in a couple days. ;)

  10. I think if you have dual filament lights, LED's will not work properly without some sort of converter, maybe something like this--

    http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=212026&store=Main&catId=&productId=p212026&leafCatId=&mmyId=

Check with the manufacturer of your lights, they should have something that works for your bike.

I can make that for Half the price, I posted a how to and schematic on this forum somewhere not too long ago...

  11. Send me a pic of the flywheel, I've got a couple different pullers. One of them may work..

sweet thanks buddy, I take a pic tomorrow ;)

Good luck, there appears there are differences between the horizontal and the vertical motor, as well as differences between the electric start and the non-electric start. From what I can tell by searching, anyway.

One source says one of the MotionPro pullers will work.

Another one says: "On the Chinese motors I have worked on, the upright motors use the Honda XL175 puller and the horizontal motor uses the Honda CT70 puller. The scooters use a universal three bolt puller for most models."

I get the impression there are possibly three different thread size pullers that are common on these motors.

What does appear often in the searches, is a Chinese double sided reversible puller that works for two thread sizes. Cheap at about 10 bucks.

I had zero luck on finding any service manuals.

    Thanks for the info ;)

  12. yeah it looks pretty much like that except green, like in your pic
Cool, I got it on order!
Hey Brooks, this one looks more like mine than the green one did. Good find. Yeah ready to get your DRD. I confirmed with Nick that my speedo healer is -5 miles off. At one point in the ride, My Tripometer read less miles than Nick and by the end of the trip it read more, after we went the same amount of miles. I could probably recalibrate it again but its a royal pain in the ass
I got yours on order too ;)
  13. These places look like they have the same connector as Honda, and I'm sure they have them for the other makes as well

    www.vintageconnections.com (http://www.vintageconnections.com/mail_order_form.htm -HP2 Set White Nylon)

http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/110_Connectors/110_connectors.html (the one labeled "2 position")

I've got an order I placed, I'm still waiting for it to arrive, its coming from Japan..

Does your connector have the tabs like this one?

[tab at the top which allows the connector to lock together]

  14. Good news, I sent the new SpeedoFix design to my buddy in texas, he has a "Yamaha 1300 Vstar Cruiser" with a needle type speedometer, got the call today everything works perfect.

This was good news because his sensor line is 12v not 5v, and his speedometer is a needle type, so to my knowledge this covers every electrical and mechanical variance among bikes that I've found so far, only thing to finish up is getting the connectors for the different bike brands, which is already in the works.

Anyway, let me know when it's ready and if I should come all the way to Troy on the bike or not.
    will do
  15. Hey guys i just changed my oil and my oil level reads right between the 2 lines. I used a Fram oil filter and Valvoline 10w40 motorcycle oil 4 stroke. So far I put a little over 2qts. I started my bike and my oil pressure light won't go off? Did i do something wrong here? I checked for leaks and nothing? any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You might as well put sand in your engine.

get rid of that FRAM junk, I would not even call it a filter. I would call it a piece of crap that allows pieces of the cardboard filter to float around in your engine.

  16. I would have too, its better than getting physical with her! You do that you may break something then she could claim excessive force. The officer did the right thing.

You are f'king wrong. how about I do that to your grandma, and we'll talk again! You must be crazy!

I can easily get a 72 year old woman into the back of a cruiser without hurting her, and against her will, and if you are unable to do this, you should not be a f'king cop!

Cops are hired to SERVE AND PROTECT the people, not to Abuse and Neglect them.

Tazering her is MUCH MUCH WORSE than man handling her into a car!! she'll possibly break her spine or both hips falling backwards after getting tazered, she could even die of a heart attack, she is f'king 72 years old, and her heart is very weak compared to a 22 year old person!

    1) That tazer could have KILLED HER, she is old and her heart is weak, I watched a old man DIE on tv that was tazered in an airport.

    2) That old lady was not doing anything that she deserved to be tortured like that, or possibly die for.

    3) You were hired to protect that old lady, even if its against her own bad judgment, instead you choose to put her life in danger, and possibly kill her!

    4) Tazering her is MUCH MUCH WORSE than man handling her into a car!! she'll possibly break her spine or both hips falling backwards after getting tazered!

    5) Tazers were not designed for 72 year old women, I am sick of cops using them as a bully tool, and that's exactly what this video displayed!

  17. where would i find it?

there is a wire coming from your front sprocket area, or close to that point at the rear of the engine, the wire is only about 6 to 8 inches long, and it will have a connector on the end. There is also a neutral indicator wire close to that location, its easy to confuse the two. I believe your's looks like the picture I posted, let me know if I am right.
