just got back from picking my new tv up after all the hassle and aggravation. the new one has ZERO scratches on it and had the plastic film covering it. im gonna assume i got someones returned tv the first time. happy now!
-
well so far theyve been giving me the run-around telling me they dont have them in stock, try another store. so i call the other store and they say they cant return it because i didnt buy it from them, i have to return it to the store i bought it from. he tells me the one i bought it from shows they have 31 but yet they say they dont have any. this may be my last hhgregg purchase. i dont understand why this shit has to be so difficult
-
First off...I work there and we don't repack any TVs at all...hence the reason why my store has the outlet center for the entire region...second is that you don't have to have an excuse to exchange it at all, bring it back in and get a different one...or come see me for a better deal on a different tv
Haha thanks chris! What tv would you say is comparable to the lg? The guy wanted to sell me a bravia but it didn't have near as many features
-
So I picked up a new lg 32lh40 on wed from hhgregg. I get this thing home and open it up to find the bezel (the outside part around the screen itself) has a bunch of fine scratches on it. It appears as tho the base had been moving around in the box and scuffed it up a bit, either that or it came that way from the factory. I'm really anal about stuff like this so I contemplated taking it back but no hhgregg in cincinnati has anymore. I guess ill just have to be content with tryin to fix it myself. Does anyone have any tips as to how to buff the scratches out? the tv is super nice, but the scratches are bothering me. Any help would be appreciated

looks like he is being charged with felony aggravated vehicular homicide

Thats a bit expensive for a 2000 track bike IMO.

Not to dump on the victims or the family, but what kind of podunk area is this?
"My mom came out and seen her the car there, and couldn't figure out why it was there. She walked over and seen she was slumped over, and she was gone," Mel Colgate said.
"saw"?
its kind of a slightly urbanized rural area close to miami whitewater forest if you know where thats at

From being there with stu when he crashed, to the funeral yesterday, this has been both an enlightening and humbling experience. I can honestly say these are a great group of people. Their love and thoughtfulness is amazing. A couple of guys are in the process of getting stu's bike back together and it will possibly be on the track next year. RIP Stu!

sorry for your loss man

so 63% of people injured were wearing a helmet? i guess a large majority of unhelmeted riders would be deceased therefore accounting for a smaller percentage of injuries?
-
Huge turn out today like brandon said. Hard for me to even see that place again. Barely even rode, went to willow then took 22 and headed home. Its gonna be a while before I can get back into the swing of things
-
Just thought I would throw this link out because in my opinion it is a great charity that helps out the families of those who loved riding.
yeah thanks man. i posted this over on assfaultjunkies.com

question- how fast were you guys traveling. im guessing triple digits
For those that have ridden the nky route, 915 is the first road. 915, even in the summer, is a road that we ride at a very relaxed pace, letting the tires warm up and letting ourselves get in tune with the bike. Given the fact it was 50 degrees out, tires warm up slower and roads aren't as warm. It may sound hard to believe but we were only doing about 40 mph. I'd have no problem saying if we were getting rowdy or acting stupid. That's what makes this whole thing so frustrating; the fact that we were riding in a safe manner. Everything about this tragedy was a freak accident

we learned today that stuart hit his chest so hard on the wall it crushed his aorta. he died quickly and felt nothing. Godspeed
-
if anyone would like to go, we will be meeting at the shell and leaving sometime around 11. here is the address:
1430 Gloria Terrell Dr, Wilder, KY

I'm not trying to drum up bad images, or...bad thoughts. Just trying to figure out everything. It says he hit a concrete wall. Was this a building, just a wall...? How did he get into the creek bed?
these may help some understand this tragedy...
-
Thanks everyone. Either myself or brandon will keep this thread updated as to funeral arrangements, memorial rides etc if you would like to come and show your support.
-
I'm trying. I just found his pic in a willow stop... This os not fair:(
i have seen many people crash but certainly nothing like this. the whole image of him hanging on the wall, me thinking, shit i need to get to him before he falls, looking back and seeing him not there and then watching mel and blake doing cpr haunts me. lets not let stuart die in vain. keep the moment of this tragedy with you forever serving as a reminder as to how precious life is and we're not promised tomorrow. let it remind us that anything can happen.

Matt, I'm very sorry for your loss! thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and all you guys! RIP
i just met him today but anytime a rider falls it effects us all. we all look out for each other. we are all family! for those of us that witnessed this happen, its a tough pill to swallow.
