WTF? That must be an old list. Ohio has preemption, which means no city in the state may make a gun law that is more restrictive than anything at state level. Since there is no ban of that particular gun at the state level, that means you can own it anywhere in the state. Someone hasn't done their homework. I still say the FiveseveN is just a gimmick...

I'm thinking they are waiting for him to be seated because they know they won't pass it afterwards. Not in the bloated, halfassed and rushed version that we were presented with. I can agree with not allowing denial due to preexisting conditions. I can agree with limiting malpractice lawsuits. I can't agree with new expenses, new taxes to cover the new expenses, forcing people to get coverage, and adding taxes to my current insurance plan because I'm willing to spend a bit extra for a good one, but I'm not in a union. Fix the fix. Do it right or not at all, and right now I'm firmly saying not at all.

I don't know that anyone that competes enough to be able to start a match like that would ever have a stock gun, although I was surprised that that it didn't look like the gun had any kind of an extended magwell.

That thing would have to have a real weak spring. I just tried that with my 1911 and could barely get the slide to come out of lock, without a mag in it.

I've practiced chambering a round one handed off my jeans, its probably faster than using both hands to be honest. Just try to catch the rear sight on your pocket and shove the gun down.

If I had a better holster for my XD that I didn't have to fuck with all the time, then I'd carry with one in the chamber. The 1911, there's no excuse for not having it in condition 1.

All across this planet, people hate anyone that looks different than them. No other country has the same racial makeup as the USA and so it's hardly an issue anywhere else. Here we have made huge strides, but no matter what happens there will always be someone unhappy for one reason or another. People who originate from different parts of the world have different cultural traits, which tend to conflict. The only way to stamp out racism is to stamp out individuality and culture. Is that worth it? Is that even possible?
