  1. My problem is that any time a station looks for a rate increase, Time Warner goes on an advertising campaign aimed at their customers talking about how such and such channel doesn't want you to see them anymore, when it's just them refusing to negotiate. They don't need to drag their customers into this shit, just work out the details and be done with it.
  2. They have been losing advertising money thanks to the economy, they have to recoup somehow.
  3. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE5BH2FX20091218?type=entertainmentNews $1 per subscriber. Is it really that big of a deal when I'm already being charged damn near $100 a month for cable and internet? I need to find out if Insight is available out here, nothing else seems to be.
  4. Under 16" you either have to apply to the ATF for a stamp for a short barrel rifle, or yes you can get a barrel with a permanently attached fake suppressor, but that's stupid. No point in sacrificing barrel length just to have something worthless still sticking off the end. Most of those rifles you posted probably cost at least 2 grand, lots of fancy pants aftermarket parts there. And I promise you none of those are "lightweight" What exactly are you wanting to do with this gun? You said something about for when zombies come, so it sounds like you want something you could actually fight with. If that's the case, you want it as light as possible. Flattop, with an Aimpoint or EOtech on top, skip the bipod, 16" barrel, front grip is personal preference, I don't see the point in them myself, get a decent sling, and don't worry about getting a free floating handguard. If you want a long range sniper, well I'd say just get a .308 bolt gun. But if you are wanting to do it with this platform, then do pretty much the opposite of what I said above. Get a longer barrel and a better trigger.
  5. This. Keep in mind, AWD turbo cars, especially the WRX/STi and Evo are bought up by a younger crowd that has no idea what they are doing with cars. I think the reason bugeye WRX's are pretty much nonexistent now is that they've all been wrecked. They aren't that old to be just gone, but I never see them on the road any more. Be VERY picky when looking at this type of car, or just go with something owned by a somewhat older crowd, and have way less to worry about.

  7. Gotta take a close look at the details. The account my company's insurance offers wipes out everything at the end of the year, it doesn't build up and you don't get unused money back, which is why I won't go that route. Otherwise, I'd save up with it for a year or two and get laser surgery for my eyes.
  8. First off I don't do hot sauce. At all. My idea of hot is a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. That being said, I was at QS&L the other day with Jones, only to find out they now have a triple atomic sauce. He talked me into trying it. It didn't really smell that bad. I dipped a fry into it, then ate it. There was no taste, no typical "OMG HOT BURNING" sensation, just a numbing pain. It was weird.
  9. I thought Glocks were perfect from the factory, why need adjustable anything??? Oh, if they also were to give it an adjustable frontstrap, so I could completely fix the grip angle, I'd probably buy one.
  10. Keep in mind if you go the trailer route, that's added expense of buying it, putting tags on it, and they aren't fun to store unless you have acreage. If you have a HOA they may fight you about keeping it on your property. They are also easy to steal.
  11. I went from being a truck guy to being an SUV guy. I ended up with an 06 Hemi Grand Cherokee, and to be honest, it's as small as I would go to tow cars with, and even then I wouldn't want something more than midsize behind it. I'm not sure that a Wrangler would be suitable for anything bigger than a jetski. There's nothing wrong with getting an SUV, just be realistic about it's capabilities. The other option is what was already mentioned, a crew cab truck.
  12. From the bottom of the page: Given the nature of this list, we get a lot of requests from people asking to add a vehicle or move one up on the list, we kindly ask the public to simply point us in the direction of an article in a major, non-biased, publication that has better test times to back up the claims, before adding, or moving any vehicle up in the list.
  13. Gotta see it first. In person. There's no way that piece of shit DSM will be running by the time I get over there.
  14. I get bloody noses all winter long too, It's not so bad when I'm home but at work it goes to hell. I think the only solution is to move south.
  15. He'll kill you in your sleep for telling people he can do exhaust
  16. Punishment should always be left up to the discretion of the judge, things should be recommended but not required, like automatic impounding.
  17. I'm always seeing late night commercials for that stuff
  18. Lash Chevy in Johnstown. Since the day the Camaro has hit the market they've had at least one at all times, if not more like their current 4. I laughed when I drove past the other day and noticed they had a C5, and the Ford dealership across the street had a pair of C6's.
  19. But nobody does it quite like you
  20. Yeah, we've noticed. Please go back to how you were PRETTY PLEASE
  21. I'd rather cops be responding to complaints like this than sitting on the side of the road with a radar gun. Call them.
