Huge known issue with the gun. Somewhere along the line they switched to a new finish that doesn't rust, and gave everyone a lifetime warranty on the finish. Mine already had a couple scratches, and now that I've been carrying it, its finally started to go. Which means I can send it in and the slide will be like new when it gets back.
