  1. They now have flash drive Zune's, which is what I have. They are nearly the exact same same as the original Nano, which is what I replaced. The screen is much larger and very crisp, and the controls are better than the stupid spinning you do with the ipod.
  2. The screen on my Nano exploded. I am now the happy owner of a Zune, and I will never look back.
  3. Toyota has been building vehicles in the states since the 80's. The Tundra and Sequoia were designed exclusively for the US, and built exclusively in the US, and are sold exclusively in the US. Up until the new model came out, the ONLY problem in these lines were bad overdrive gears in the 4 speed autos behind the V8 engine, and that was fixed by the 2003 model. I had an 01, and it never had any issues with the trans, or anything else for that matter. I had it for nearly two years, and I put new tires on it, and changed the oil every 10,000 miles (Mobile1 15,000 mile synthetic). I had ZERO problems with it. When I bought it, the odometer said 57,000, and when I sold it, it read 97,000. I'm still kicking myself for getting rid of it.
  4. Either an 03+ 4.7L Sequoia or an 04+ 4Runner. I'm thinking more and more about a 4runner for my next vehicle, if I can scrounge up enough of a down payment.

  8. Cheapest I've seen local is Vance's, cheaper than any of the big chain stores even.
  9. Weren't you just advocating towing with a Trailblazer? Howard, I'll see if I can't get Evan to load up his off road truck onto his trailer and swing by your place to give you a demonstration of how capable it is.
  10. Not knowing shit about heroin, or how accurate it is, but I remember they talk about how to get off it in the movie Trainspotting. Might be worth a shot to watch it.
  11. I've ridden along many times with Evan while towing with the truck he posted the pictures of. It's never struggled. The 4.0 in those put out the same power as the 4.7 V8 in the Tundra I used to have (which never struggled in any of the numerous times I used it to tow). That engine is more than capable of pulling a Supra.
  12. Are you able to play 360 backups without modding the xbox?
  13. Newer Dodges don't have tranny problems.
  14. The Halo 3 map? I like using the Banshee on that one
  15. Your average 18ft steel trailer weighs around 2,000 pounds, which only allows for a 3,000 pound car. Not quite enough to haul the supra around!
  16. Does it come with the EMO license plate? If so, we might just have a deal.
  17. You won't fit in the Lotus, no more discussion necessary. As for the Supra/ZO6 - A salvage title car wouldn't be worth that much. Those cars seem to be starting to come down in price now that they are hitting higher miles, for just a bit more you can get one with a clean title and just a bit less than pristine. I actually know where you can find one just as I described, too. If it were a drag strip only car, the combination that seems to work is solid rear axle and powerglide. If it's mostly a street car, stick with the stock IRS and stock 6 speed and learn to drive it.
  18. I've learned from experience that turbo AWD I4 = shitty gas mileage. Sure it's only a 2.0, but boost changes everything. I'll bet your MKIV uses less gas than my WRX, when driving it easy. I went through this same debate a year ago, only my budget was far smaller. It seems like the better the gas mileage, the more the car sucks to drive. I miss my Tundra
  19. I take it someone isn't paying rent? and I have no idea who locked this
  20. It's in the news. They want to charge people by how much bandwidth they use. Considering how much time I spend on XBOX Live, this could hurt me. Looks like I might be looking for a new cable provider. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080117/time_warner_cable_internet.html?.v=2
  21. The bigger hard drive is worth it, wish I had it.
  22. I've seen multiple cell phone live through baths, including mine (2.5 years ago and still running) and my roommate's. Believe it or not, if you toss it in the refrigerator for a while, it will draw the moisture out. Leave it in there for a few hours, then give it a try. Might work, might not. I know when my roommate's blackberry took a dip, it took about a day for the keys to work right, then a couple more days before the speaker stopped buzzing, but it's been flawless for the last couple months until he dropped something on it and cracked the screen.
  23. What all do they carry? I've never been in there. I could use some stuff around the house
