Joe made me laugh wow Anyway Jason, what Crash (Ben) said was pretty accurate. I can't recall anyone being NEARLY this nice to a new guy coming in that has a car and dreams like yours. Now, we aren't saying to get rid of the probe, as it is very nice to be able to have a reliable daily driver, but to keep it reliable leave it stock. An old saying from around here that I haven't seen anyone mention lately is "Fast, Cheap, Reliable; you can only pick two". That's about as accurate as it gets. If you are looking to go on the cheap, there are a plethora of late 70's through 80's RWD cars that you can choose from, and cheaply throw in a warmed over small block. Foxbody Mustangs, 3rd gen f-body's, g-body's, whatever. All of those can be had for a couple grand, throw another grand into the tranny and a grand into building a decent naturally aspirated motor, and you are going to have plenty of fun with it. And those are high estimates, you could luck out on some of the stuff.

unkown. The steering column is kinda busted up, so i haven't even tried to start it. The key is jammed in the on position, i haven't tried to figure out how to start it so I don't know if it runs. This truck is ROUGH, that's why it's free. Just remembered, the wheels and tires that are on the truck are not included, i have to return those to the guy i got the truck from.

86 nissan 4x4 king cab, has tranny problems and i'm not sure how to start it. It's rough, but if you come and pick it up today it is FREE, comes with a clean title. Not trying to be a dick or anything here, but how old are you? You honestly come off as a 16 year old. If so, we can still save you from the world of automotive disolution and tastelessness, but you have to at least pay attention. We would be more than happy to help.

kit? besides, i've thought it out. I need more low end torque for towing, top end on the truck isn't bad at all right now. Low end kinda hurts though, the truck doesnt really start to pull until 3 - 3.5 k oh well, i'm not doing shit with that truck anyways, other than driving it and occasionally towing with it

Going along with the ideas posted in here, if JL makes a Stealthbox for your car that would definately be the way to go, coming in at close second would be that Infinity Basslink, just do an ebay search for it. If you want to do something on your own, I've got a 10" Audiobahn that I would let go cheap, but it needs a box. And an amp.

Just get an Infinity Basslink and be done with it. Amp is built in, all you have to do is give it power and signal.
