  1. fits all requirements, and does it all very well
  2. So what you are saying is that if GM were to suddenly be out of the picture, the people that would have gone out and bought a brand new GM are instead going to not buy anything at all? These people wouldn't go spend their money on one of the other surviving companies, therefore causing them to expand to make up the difference, therefore bringing in a large share of the displaced workers?

  4. You use this argument yet you don't like a guy because he's Mormon. No similarity at all
  5. so what, exactly, makes a company top tier as far as the actual product is concerned? I'm not talking about the customer service or prices or anything like that, just the product itself.
  6. http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/florida.pdf I also mentioned this in my reciprocity thread
  7. Florida does require a training class, but it is not as strict as our requirements
  8. Because military has to follow Geneva convention, cops and security guards do not
  9. I hate people that complain So what you are saying......is you were drinking PBR before it was cool? Hipster
  10. You should have permission before entering any private place. A business without a sign saying not to carry is permission. Before entering anyones home you should ask permission. Only time you have to notify a police officer is if its an official stop.
  11. Is it just me or does it look like tire failure in the rear? After the gf hit a deer and THEN went off the road I've been trying to drill into her head to never swerve no matter what, just put the brakes to the floor.
  12. Paypal has a no guns policy, have fun talking to them
  13. Makes me wonder if they are going to go with handless Merle instead of what happens to Rick in the comics
  14. Lenovo is surprisingly low on that list, and I've not seen any MSI anywhere. I downloaded the Windows 8 preview, installing it now on my old laptop. So far its going smoothly. I'm thinking maybe I should try to downclock it to help with the overheating during normal usage.
  15. the most taxing thing I would use it for is DVD ripping. So I don't need anything high end. I'd like to stay under $400, but realistically what I'm seeing that interests me would be about $450. Anyone have any experience with the Sonys? I saw one that fit the bill which surprised me, I always thought they were way overpriced.
  16. Last time I was there they had no gun signs on the entrance to the parking garage, and more signs at the ticket booth for the theater. Easton should be avoided entirely.
  17. Mine is a DV6663US, it was $1,000 when I bought it 5 and a half years ago. It started having overheating problems probably the second year I had it. Since then the hinges have broke, and it will randomly shut down from heat. Now it won't go more than 5 minutes without shutting off. I've had a couple friends with HP's from the same era, also had broken hinges and other issues. To those suggesting Asus - it seems like to get the same specs as other brands, I would have to spend about $150 more. Does this sound right? Conversely, Acers seem to be too cheap compared to everything else, that kinda scares me off.

    Mosquito's

I've hardly noticed them at all this year
  19. The whistle tips, they go :woowoo:
  20. Just like the title says, I'm wondering what brands of laptops are good these days and what I should avoid. Looking for something on the cheap end (sub $500) with a 15.6" screen, but something with a bit more punch than an Atom. I've had bad luck with HP's along with a lot of people I know, and I've never been a fan of Dell, otherwise I'm open to suggestions. edit - also, no Macs. Not like they would fit into my price range anyway.
  21. and if he gets a Sprint Galaxy Nexus then he will have to deal with fucked up antenna's and battery life I REALLY like my Evo LTE. Wirefly has the SGIII for $180 and Evo LTE for $150. Either would be excellent. My last phone was an OG Evo and I rooted and ROMd it, but this thing I'm not even worried about rooting because its just that good. Only thing I miss is AdFree.
